Acorn Wood Floors

We got Acorn to come in and refinish our hardwood maple floors. They came in and redid our house in a week flat. The floors now look brand new and couldn't be better. But be prepared to repaint your base boards. We were repainting our house, so it wasn't a problem for us.

I Needed all the hardwood on the main floor of my house resurfaced (50yr old original). Ron came to measure and provide an accurate and detailed estimate. I delayed getting this job done for over 1 month and then called Val back to schedule the job the following week and she was able to squeeze me in. Ron team arrived on site and did a fantastic job restoring the floors to its original glory. The team was friendly, professional, efficient and flexible. I was finishing off the renovations in my bathroom and Ron's team agreed to delay 1 day so I could get the bathroom finished. Ron's team also installed new baseboards that really made my house look great. Thanks Ron, Val and team for a job well done that I am very happy with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acorn to friends and family.

Initially met Val at one of the home shows and I was pleasantly surprised that Acorn Wood Floors can install brand new thin strip top nail red oak flooring to match the rest of my house. Ron did a great job on the install, on time, and on budget. The thin strip oak flooring is also the ideal product if you have in floor radiant heat. Great job guys.

We had an old fir floor which I was not sure how to finish. I found some helpful advice from a local company called Acorn Wood Floors in some of the discussion forums. When I called them on the phone they were extremely helpful and encouraging. The owner visited my home and told me verbally how to do the job myself. They took the time to draw up a quote for me, which was reasonable, but we ended up doing the job ourselves. Without their helpful advice and courteous service I would not have had the confidence to proceed. Thank you Acorn for being so helpful and honest!

After a great deal of research and three different quotes we chose Acorn Wood Floors to refinish our hardwood floors. Acorn did a great job, we met them at the Home & Garden show in 2011. We love our new engineered hardwood floors, great price and beautiful product, no hidden costs. We went with Vintage engineered flooring as it was made in Canada and had great reviews! Could not have been happier with our choice.
