Acorn Wood Floors

We needed 3/4" engineered hardwood for the basement and were having a difficult time finding something suitable. Acorn had a hickory product that my mom really liked. Installed it is beautiful. I liked dealing with Val (in the office). She is organized, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. I felt like I was dealing with a small business that took pride in their work and cared about their customers.

We were given good customer service,, through the office, the estimating and the actual work, and the result is very good, sanding done skillfully, Pleasant and reliable people to work with.

Prior to moving into our new home Acorn Wood Floors refinished our hardwood floors. Their professional staff have the floors looking like they have just been installed. In addition, Ron and his team have been available to answer many questions and guide us through the maintenance procedures to ensure our floors will remain in top condition. Their expertise, professionalism and patience has been so very much appreciated. We highly recommend Acorn Floors.

Acorn installed this for us in 2006. They did a great job and we have been very pleased since then. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, and kept things clean throughout the project. And, of course, the floor still looks great after more than 5 years.

Bought our 1968yr home, first thing we did was rip out old disgusting carpets in bedrooms when we discovered original hardwood underneath. Called Ron and asked him for expertise if salvageable. Was not hopeful because we saw big black stains, he put our minds at ease with professional info. and happened to have material readily available..Job done in 3 days instead of 5..great work fellas, definitely recommend and no big sanding mess either =).

The floors still look great and we are very happy with them.

Their staff showed up on time, and were very efficient, clean, and friendly. They followed up with us to ensure that the job was done properly which is something we thought was great as you don't get from a lot of companies anymore.

have a 1962 ladner special - wood floor was trashed even had a big hole cut out beside fireplace dont know why acorn came in chosen because local and recommended by other locals they made the floor look like new all shiny and cant even tell where the big hole in the floor was and we have the dark inlay too - our main floor was finally live-able

They did everything in a timely manner when they said they would and had good follow up.
Came back for tough up. Transitions were put in for no extra charge after hours according to our schedule. Quality of the product and the price was good.
They had an eco friendly finish on the floor. We would use them again and we are now thinking about doing the basement.

Ron has superb product this great maple turquoise flooring. Acorn wood flooring provided excellent service. We were very happy with product. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
