Anna's Housekeeping Services

I am a real estate broker and have used Anna's Houskeeping services very often, for many years now. They always have a cleaner for me, they are very hard working people. They bring their own products. They had sometimes to tackle really filthy places, people who moved out without any considration for the new owners. The service is reliable and cheap. My clients think I am the best realtor in the world because I offer them this service!

First experience was excellent. Second experience was unsatisfactory. The maid refused to use the vaccuum, was too chatty, wasn't thorough (AND 'finished' early), and rearranged my ornaments, bar, books and bathroom -- without my permission. The third and final maid was late, refused to use the vaccuum (excellent vaccuum), refused to use the mop (she has something against squeeze mops), so decided to swiffer the floor instead. This is a big issue because the whole point of the visit was to have the floors washed. Even though I needed only two thirds of my place done, she still did not properly dust, and 'finished' 45 minutes early. The office staff is rude, unhelpful and offensive. I will never use this company again.

Do not waste your time. For 4 years now we've asked for two regular ladies to come in once a week. Tonight I came home to ALL garbage cans still full, my bed unmade, and my floor unvacuumed. Today, not only did they NOT send us our REGULAR ladies, but they sent a NOOB and a PARTIAL NOOB (we've seen her before, but she's bad). There are two gems that work for this facepalm-worthy company, one who I shall call M and the other I can't remember her name. Just so you two know, we love you, but your coworkers disappoint.

DO yourself a favour and use another service. TRUST ME.

I was actually recommended this service from someone who has used them for years.

The first lady they sent me was great. She came for a few months, but then left the company. The replacement cleaners have been terrible. I asked for the first one to be changed since she didn't do a good job. The second one was even worse - and had obviously not cleaned a bunch of things (including the ENTIRE upstairs floor of my house). There was obviously stuff on the floor that she hadn't bothered vacuuming, dusting, etc.

I complained and even took pictures on my camera phone, but when they sent the same lady back a day and a half later to fix what she hadn't done, she basically stood in my house with her hands on her hips and accused me of shedding dust and hair on purpose since it 'wasn't there when she cleaned'. I have no interest in dirtying up my house to get it cleaned again, I assure you.

She's still here and banging my furniture around in protest like she wants to break it. Also, she finally admitted that she hadn't cleaned one of the bathtubs the last two (bi-weekly) visits.

ETA: I just went upstairs and there is STILL hair and fluff on the ground, despite her having 're-cleaned' it.

I bet she's going to try and blame the (very expensive) vacuum cleaner.

... update: She has now accused me of having too much hair. Amazing.

Rest assured, I will NEVER be using this service again.

The WORST house cleaning service. First of all they were late, not professional at all. A couple came and the husband didn't even know how to clean, i don't understand how they are hired. Secondly, the wife mentioned they cleaned some parts and the husband said no, they did not. Both of them were contradictory. They didn't even finish cleaning the whole house as they mentioned they were going to complete it. The wife kept mentioning that it is her anniversary so she had to go, why would you come and clean if you have personal commitments. We are paying you for the service and you are telling us it is your anniversary. NEVER EVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE. They will just rip you off. Worst customer service and they don't even know proper english! They didn't do much cleaning and they took money for 8 hours. Waste of money, we could have done that ourself!

I've been with Anna for the past 5 years and I've been very happy. For the past 4 years I have had the same cleaner. She's lovely, thorough, and dependable. The whole thing works for me. Easy. One thing I don't have to worry about.

This is the worst cleaning service. The owner, Anna, is rude, unprofessional. She blamed me for not having cleaning equipment. They say they are bringing their own products--they dont. They use water or whatever is around the house. They spent so much time on one thing and dont do a thorough job. They are rude and unreliable. And heaven forbid you complain...they dont care about their customers.

I purchased a housecleaning package for my pregnant sister who resides in Etobicoke. Based on my visits, it appears as if the cleaner is doing a proper job. The same cleaner visits on a weekly basis and main areas (floors, tables, countertops) are cleaned, but I did find that more minute details were missed (dust around baseboards, bathtub not cleaned, etc. I'll probably shop around for another cleaning service for my sister once my sister's term with Anna's Housekeeping Services ends.

I have used Anna's Housekeeping for 5 years, and i have been happy.
They are consistant with cleaning, and always flexable with when i need them to come and clean.

Anna's Housekeeping provides a very reliable cleaning service that I have used for many years. I have no hesitation recommending them. They provide trustworthy staff who work very hard and do a good job at a reasonable price.
