Astron had a mid-range estimate, but ended up throwing in many items for free, which made them the best bang for the buck - and made me a very happy customer! The guys worked very steadily to get the job done and cleaned up impecabbly afterwards. On top of that all, they are part of an ESA program so they won't do any work that's not compliant. Some electricians quoted for alot of extra work that wasn't required. Because of Astron's participation in the ESA program, we felt more confident that they weren't taking advantage of us. And, we got the certificate almost immediately.

I've contacted Astron Electric 3 times. First to rewire knob and tube. That job wasn't too expensive, work was okay, but not great.

Two other times, requested quotes that were priced way way higher than others. They also quoted for additional work that wasn't necessary.

Plus the estimator always had a take it or leave it attitude - very disrespectful, rude and not helpful.

they took advantage of a single mother by submitting me with a quote and then changing the quote after the job was half done. they did not do all they said they would do for the price originally quoted!!!!!
