Atlas Alarms Ltd

When my store first opened, we were approached by Atlas Alarms and decided to go with them. They charged us all the money upfront. They didn't even give us a new system, we had to use the old outdated system from the stores previous occupants. Two months later they kept sending us a bill for $30.00 for one month AFTER our service was supposed to end. Who charges you for January, when your contract ends in December? A few months later we switched companies and they haven't even called to find out why. Guess they don't care enough?

I used Atlas Alarms on several occasions as they had a satellite office in our commercial building in Langley. Every time I had to deal with them it was like pulling teeth to get something done.

For some reason we also used Atlas Alarms for our home alarm system + monitoring and it was equally impossible to get faulty equipment replaced or an operator's manual for our keypad model. In fact it was so old, I couldn't even find it on the internet and I'm an experienced IT guy.

For our home monitoring, we just cut off the monthly billing and hired another company - Atlas Alarms never even called us to ask why.

When they left our commercial building, they left everyone with something to remember them by: they plastered their company's stickers in every single business' window in the entire building. What class.

These guys collect their fees money month after month. If you have a problem, service is alsmost impossible to get. I had a keypad go bad last year and they sent a technician out to look at it. He tried to charge me 120 for the visit, TO CLEAN THE KEYPAD. It continued to fail of course, and then they wanted to chage me for a new keypad. Since then I have tried about 6 times to get a manual for the new keypad, which is always promised, but never delivered. This has been going on now for over 12 months. I can't even change a battery ont the system without problems and they can't be bothered to send me instructions on how to reset the system. This company is absolutely not referrable except as an example of where NOT to go for an alarm system.
