Ay A Kitchens & Baths Ltd

We chose Aya Kitchens in Mississauga to redesign and redo our kitchen cabinets. The customer service was fantastic from the receptionist at the front desk, to our designer Alyson, who worked hard with me to make sure we were happy with what we were getting. Our installer was fantastic and very quick. The one small problem we had with a shelf above the stove was handled as quickly as possible (esp. since it was over the Christmas holidays) The quality of the cabinets seems to be good....but we haven't fully "moved back in" yet!

A complete nightmare. Installation took nearly 17 months-- 526 days-- to complete, not including planning, design or construction. JUST installation. It's been an unmitigated disaster at every stage, from a designer unfamiliar with the product line, to repeatedly flawed orders and production, to a total lack of oversight and management engagement. In addition to having no functional kitchen for well longer than it normally takes to build an entire housing development-- we had no sink or countertops for TEN MONTHS-- the extended nature of this project incurred upwards of $7000 in additional costs.

We finally signed off-- though the pantry doors barely open and the upper cabinet doors don't STAY open-- because, after six complete rebuilds, we can't face dealing with this incompetant, uncaring company.

Not once did anyone take responsibility on this project, nor did management express regrets, or contact us in any way.

We recently renovated our kitchen, and were very happy with the service and product received from Aya. Fantastic customer service, from the receptionist, to designer and installer. Our designer, Patrick Ryan, was very knowledgeable and experienced, and offered plenty of helpful advice through the design process. We couldn't be more happy with the final outcome of our kitchen...looks like it was custom made for our space!

We looked around for a good contractor for Kitchen upgrade. In the end, Aya gave us the best value for the price. Aya was referred to us. They did a quality job on our kitchen. In the end, we were very happy that we went ahead with Aya.

I have no idea why any reputable builder would even contract with Aya. I paid over 7000 for upgraded cabinetry. Terrible quality. Installers left without finishing the installation. Door hinges not properly installed, missing shelving pegs. Toe kicks are showing gaps, paint is scuffed badly. And oh yes, damaged cabinetry. Their stuff is cheap plywood that chips on the slightest contact. When I first moved in I thought the builder had given me second hand cabinets. I am still awaiting Aya to fix problems. When these problems will be fixed to satisfaction, I will update this review accordingly.

Design service very thorough. So happy with the layout, and recommendations. Installer ok, Love the kitchen. AyA cabinets v solid. Great hardware, etc.Solid warranty. Would recommend. We also used them for bedroom closets which look stunning.

We shopped around a lot for our kitchen, and Aya gave us the best value for the style we wanted. We were nervous about paying the full amount before installation, but a friend had Aya install his kitchen and was happy with it. Aya took longer than others (that we didn't go with) to come up with the design, but were thorough in the design review. There were a couple of hiccups in the installation, but Aya went beyond what we asked in making adjustments, and the result was impressive. We are very happy with our kitchen.
