Kitchen appliances purchase and delivery
With the service I received, I will never be back. I bought a duel-fuel range, fridge and microwave.I paid in full Aug 4 for a planned delivery on Aug 21 to coincide with the completion of our kitchen renovation. I gave instructions to contact my contractor for any problems providing 2 contact numbers as I would be away. The project was to be completed that week. The delivery to my contractor came without the range. I found out on Aug 31, that the kitchen project had now been on hold for over a week due to the missing range. I contacted Tony and left a message. He did not return my call. I finally got a hold of him Sept 5 and he said they in fact had the range in but were waiting for me to follow up. While frustrated I remained calm saying that they were costing my contractor's time and my money daily. I arranged for a delivery time and took time off work to be home for a delivery between 3 & 8pm. I called at 6:30 to check the arrival time. A woman said Tony was with a client and that all the delivery men had gone home. I held on to speak to Tony for 25 min. At that point, The woman promised he would call back in 5 min. He never did. I left a message on his and the general vm. I got a call the next morning, saying the delivery men have Wed off and I would have to wait. Rob Caplan said no exceptions. I got him to reconsider, the range came but the delivery guys left the old appliances in the kitchen. Ultimately it cost me an extra $1500 in renovations and worse demoralized.
