Paid $8,000 for a furnace and A/C just over a year ago. Worked great for one full year, but when we turned the A/C on to use it for the 2nd summer, it's not working and a giant ball of ice has formed around the pipe. Called Cosmopolitan and told we'd have to wait 2 weeks to get someone over and that their work is only guaranteed for 1 year so we would have to pay to repair their shoddy workmanship - Bravo Cosmopolitan! Yet another company whose service is only good until you pay! Shopping for another company to repair their mess now...
UPDATE: After a few calls and some social media shaming, a representative magically showed up unannounced at our door the same day. The problem was therefore promptly fixed. The company tried blaming the customer care centre for the poor customer service. As far as I'm concerned, companies need to learn that if they choose to outsource their customer service, that contractor becomes the face of their company so they should really think twice about outsourcing such a crucial part of their service on which their reputation depends. Also, the company requested several times that I take this post down, and even asked their technician to request this as well. This to me seems quite unacceptable and shows poor judgement rather than a true concern for customer satisfaction. However, if you are lucky enough to get Ather as your technician, you will most definitely be satisfied with the service he provides!
