Emerald Moving

I am sure you know how stressful moves are and my wife and I were definitely feeling anxious and worried building up to and during the move. As promised, the Emerald drivers arrived on time. Although we had requested three men, due to illness, we ended up with only two. Immediately the two men went right to work. They took such care with our belongings, ensuring everything was wrapped.

During the move out and in, we offered them coffee, donuts, water, lunch, etc. and I believe they appreciated our hospitality. What really surprised us was that they would down their coffee or eat their lunch in minutes and then got right back to work. I was tired just watching them. Once we got to the new house, both Billy and Joe continued to shock us with their working ethics. They had to unload that entire truck that was filled to capacity. I am sure they were exhausted climbing all those stairs and lifting our heavy stuff, but they continued on…always with a smile for us.

We were truly impressed with these two gentlemen. Although the move took over ten hours, they both made us feel that things were alright. One of the movers even had a commitment 4:00 pm, but never made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him. Once again, always smiling and considerate to our angst. We believe that these two guys should be given an award. We are very happy that we were smart enough to use Emerald and that they were smart enough to send these two guys to move us.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of everyone we interacted with - on the phone, in person for our in-home estimate, and on moving day. Our moving day went very smoothly, on schedule, nothing was damaged, and at estimated cost. We highly recommend this company.

Emerald Moving was professional and easy to deal with. They offered cost savings suggestions before and after the job was complete. Their staff took care with our possessions on our brand new hardwood. All that in plus 30 degree weather. Great job.

I was very impressed with the hardwork, good nature and professionalism of the entire moving team. The 3 gentleman were working in a very hot climate and finished the job faster than initially estimated and were very helpful in taking apart and setting up my office desk and bed. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again.

Emerald was wonderful!! Tom and Doug arrived on time and were very professional, pleasant and efficient. They handled everything with care and wrapped my furniture all while working very quickly. They worked well under pressure and made moving day stress free.

As the other reviews say - this was the most stress free move we've ever had. Carole and David were great from the coordination end and the moving team was super professional. They arrived on time and finished the move without incident - and under the estimated cost.

There is no shortage of moving companies out there. If you want a top quality, no hassle move with friendly, competent people, choose Emerald. We made use of their storage facilities and the prices for both the moving and the storage were reasonable. There was a small hitch when we moved out of our old house, but it was completely resolved such that we felt we were in professional hands at all times. Highly recommended!

We moved out of a 1-bedroom apt to a 1-bedroom condo. The 2-men crew arrived on time at 9am. They got started right away by moving the boxes first.
Then they wrapped up every piece of furniture very carefully. They even removed the door-hardware from the furniture doors so they wouldn't get damaged. They were very careful with every piece of furniture we have, they never dragged anything, they always lifted things up so it wouldn't get damaged. The 2 guys even moved our VERY heavy 3-seater leather couch down 5 flights of stairs because it didn't fit in the elevator. They never stopped or slowed down during the entire process. They worked very efficiently, very neat as well. We are extremely pleased/satisfied with how our move went. These guys really know what they're doing and it shows - they do an amazing job!
This was a totally stress-free and worry-free move. Hire these guys and you will not regret it, they're well worth the rates they charge.

These guys at Emerald Movers really make it easy for you. Like a previous review said, I knew from my first point of contact with Carole at Emerald that this was the company to go with. Then after meeting David (the owner) my husband and I had such peace of mind. And his crew? Unbelievable. They were young, but SUPER professional, took such great care of things and were so organized. The crew leader that day, Doug, really had it all under control. These guys are fabulous and I would highly recommend them. You may find a cheaper rate elsewhere but you won't find quality like this. Thanks again guys.

I booked Emerald on the recommendation of a friend. The owner came to my apartment to give me an estimate and was very clear about the charges. I didn't shop around because he was so professional and I felt confident booking the company for my move. The day of the move, the movers arrived promptly. They carried every single one of my boxes down two flights of stairs (I had at least 30 heavy banker's boxes filled with books) and wrapped up all my furniture. They never slowed down or stopped and were done very quickly. I was amazed at how efficiently they worked, and I was pleased that the move only took a few hours. Everyone was very courteous and polite, and very professional all around. I know that Emerald is a little more expensive than some other companies, but that extra bit of money is completely worth it for peace of mind.
