Emerald Moving

Aside from a little difficulty getting the first appointment, i would have no hesitation recommending Emerald. They arrived on time with the proper equipment and made our move a wonderful success. David made several recommendations because we were moving multiple sites with different requirements and it was gratifying to note that we did follow them, which i believe contributed to our very successful move.

The handling of our possessions was done in a very professional manner and the staff supplied were very friendly and extremely helpful. They didnt rush us during our move and in fact the time quoted to us was reasonable including the time to setup our furniture and place it in our home the way we wanted. Emerald provided sufficent staff that nobody had to work to hard, or be limited in any way that could have caused damage to our property or in fact injure any of the movers. (NOTE: not one item received damage )

Our move was so succesful, that i invited the movers to join us for a barbecue and drinks (soft drinks of course), they even had a dip in our brand new swimming pool. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to talk to the staff who assisted us and to learn about the travels of these fine young Irishmen. We could not have been more pleased or can we say enough complimentary things about Emerald and the moving team that worked with us. They made it a less stressful experience and my wife Anna and I recommend Emerald movers highly.

For my move from the GTA to my new home 100 miles away, I felt I needed a company I was comfortable with, after a few bad experiences in the past. I immediately liked the 5 colour brochure Emerald offers with excellent detail, the cheerful and professional service from their charming office assistant as well as the personal on site quote from the President.
I felt it was worth spending a little more than other companies quoted, but I was confident that it was money well spent, and I was right. Thank you, David and team.

This was the easiest move I have ever experienced. The head office was very polite over the phone and able to accomodate me on short notice. All quotes and confirmations were sent via email so I could see it all in writing.

On moving day, the movers were on time and they took a lot of care in wrapping up and moving our things (blankets, tape, plastic wrap, etc). When we arrived at our new place it had started raining and the movers asked us to suggest which items they could move in the rain because they were concerned about damaging our wood and upholstered items. They were very careful with removing their shoes and worked quickly and carefully. The quote was accurate and they made it easy to pay by credit card.

Most importantly, the thing that made this move easy and comfortable was that the movers were extremely polite. It was July (very humid), it started raining halfway through the day and we had many sets of stairs in our new place. These guys moved quickly and quietly, did not complain about anything and addressed us so politely throughout the entire day. I have recommended Emerald to others and we will hire them again for our next move.

The staff are very thorough and open to answering any questions. The packers and movers were clean, polite and efficient. They set down the appropriate runners and kept the house clean and it was raining for half the day!

I believe the testament to great character is how you handle the hard times. When packing, a picture frame fell and the glass broke. They called me right away, told me what happened and provided a solution. They repaired it and returned it within quickly. I was VERY satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone.
