Emerald Moving

David and his crew were punctual, efficient, friendly, and experienced. We were in the top two floors of a house, moved into a main floor/basement, and the move was completed in under 7 hrs. They were very open to direction as to where we wanted things in our new place. One of the bedrooms was unavailable to us on moving day (floor being fixed). David and his crew arranged everything in the other bedroom in a manner where we could get to it all easily. I'd left some money in an empty drawer, which David brought to my attention. I was very grateful for his honesty. He also made it clear to let him know if we had any concerns after the move. He is proud of both his excellent record and reputation, and wants to keep them that way.

Don't move on the cheap; it'll cost you somehow in the end. On the other hand, there's no need to spend $1500 either. David McClean's Emerald Moving is an excellent choice. I was happy to have a beer with them, when it was all over.

Emerald Moving was AMAZING! They were very professional and met all my expectations. I recommend them to everyone that wants to have a easy moving day (as easy as moving can be :) )

I was moving last spring and shopped around for the cheapest guys to do the job. I have a lot of stuff apparently, and needed 2 trucks. Emerald gave me the best price and they did a fantastic job, nothing damaged and no issues.

I found Emerald here through Homestars and decided to try them out. Their price was fair & market rate, the office was easy to communicate with, and I got a written quote in advance which was no different from the final charge. Movers are notorious, but the 3 men who came out were clean-cut, polite and sociable. More importantly, they were on time and were very careful with our belongings. The only damage was mild scratches to the backside of our leather sofa, but the challenge was getting it up the stairs into the second floor of a 100 year old house, so we can't really complain. I have recommended them many times since and will call nobody else next time we move.

Emerald Moving was awesome. Dave and Mike were very profession, quick and highly respectful of my stuff. They made the moving experience stress free, which was great since I was one my own. Thanks Dave for a great move.

I was very happy with the professionalism and service that I received from Emerald Moving. They arrived right on time and finished early. They were friendly and did a fantastic job! I would definitely use Emerald Moving next time I move.

One doesn't use mover often, so they are very much an unknown. I used Emerald twice, once to move complete house contents from Toronto to Mississauga, and then a year later to move office contents. Both moves went perfectly. Emerald moving is courteous, honest, straigh-forward and reliable (and on time). They do what the say they will do. It is not possible to move a complete house without some breakage, we had almost none, and no additional unexpected charges. Highly recommended without reservations. You will not find better.

Emerald was recommended as a high quality and reliable mover and having used their services twice now I have to say that they are indeed everything that I was told they were. They came on time, priced their service very fairly and were very flexible and helpful with my move of furniture from my house to a storage locker during a renovation. I would highly recommend them to anyone else needing a mover who truly knows what customer service means.

I hate moving. Boy, do I hate moving. We obtained several quotations for a move from our condo to a storage locker, and ended up selecting Emerald Moving because they were one of the few moving companies that was willing to come and see what the job entailed before offering an estimate, and their estimate was quite reasonable.

Owner Dave and his assistants did a fantastic job moving everything into their truck and thence into the storage unit, in spite of the tricky problem of a failed part on a high-end bed which prevented its being dismantled (David ended up drilling very carefully through the failed part without damaging the wood, and the manufacturer supplied a replacement before we needed to reassemble the bed).

Once everything was unloaded at the storage facility, David told me that if we would commit to using their services for the final portion of the move, he could give me a quotation then and there, and we wouldn't have to return any of the protective equipment they provided during moving. This would speed up the move considerably, and as I was already quite happy with the service, I agreed without hesitation.

The final part of the move went smoothly, and my wife and I were both extremely pleased with the service we received from Emerald Moving.

Dave and Michael moved me from an apartment to a house. There service was excellent right from the initial email to gather information to the end of the move. Emails were returned promptly, they showed up on time on the moving day, and my furniture and belongings were handled with care and wrapped carefully. The two of them worked efficiently and were friendly, helpful, and polite. At the end of it all, the price was exactly what I had been quoted - no surprises!
