Mike Fyfe, the owner of Fyfe's Roofing was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He offered clear and honest communication and had fabulous and reliable customer service. I reached out to him at 11:30p.m through the home stars email (during peak season!) And we received a friendly and prompt response the next morning with two site visits to our home the following day. We were in a bind as our home inspection came back with immediate action required on our attic and roof requiring repair prior to closing the offer within the week and fast closing within the month. The fact we had them communicating, following through and providing site visits and quotes within 24 hours during their busy season was absolutely unheard of, above and beyond accomodating and so unbelievably appreciated by all parties. Mike said he helps realtors very often to close deals with prompt and reliable repairs on short notice. Although the job was requiring completion quickly the quality of workmanship and service was not compromised in the least. This is an absolutely phenomenal man and company to deal with and I will definitely continue to refer them and use their services whenever a future roofing need iz required in future homes. Thank you Mike for your pleasant demeanor and prompt reliable service and communication. Very grateful and happy to spread the word on how wonderful you are to deal with. Our two roofs looks great...workmanship was excellent! Our eavestroughing fantastic...very knowledgeable crew replacing it! Followed a local Face Book recommendation to call Mike at Fyfe's Roofing after a few heavy downpours 2 weeks ago. 3 companies said the lead time was 3-4 days to inspect and Mike made time on a Saturday morning (next day) to make a quick repair to stop further damage, then came back and repaired many, many cracks and deficiencies left by the builder for a reasonable cost. I would recommend Mike and his team 100%.

Fyfe's Roofing re-shingled the roof of my house in 2018. I was completely impressed with the workmanship and my dealings with Mike. At the time, Mike recommended that I might consider replacing my aged eavestroughing. This spring, I hired Fyfe's Roofing to replace the eavestroughing. Once again, I am very satisfied with all aspects of the job, from the initial advice from Mike to the final cleanup when the work was completed. I would use Fyfe's Roofing again without hesitation!

I called Mike for some advice and service as I located some shingles around the yard after a recent windstorm. Mike was able to arrive the following day, did a roof assessment and repaired the missing shingles. He also tuned up the roof and caulked the vents. I appreciate the extra care and attention to detail that Mike displayed, even for a minor job. An honest company and will not hesitate to use in the future.

Needed a soffit repair after wind damage created an unwanted birds nest. Not a big job but too high for me to tackle safely.
I emailed Mike at Fyfe's on a Sunday and sent a photo of the problem. Mike responded surprisingly the same day with a price that was acceptable.
The work was done quickly and efficiently once there was a break in the cold weather.
Very satisfied with the result.

Emailed Mike in the morning and he was at my house the same day in the afternoon to repair my roof from the recent windstorm we had. He replaced the missing shingles plus fixed some loose ones, inspected the entire roof and sealed some gaps around the vent.......also made time to fix my neigbours roof as well.

Honest and upfront with the price, no games like some contractors.

Would highly recommend to my family and friends.

I had just replaced my roof last year, and this winter during every snow melt I would get leaks in the house because of snow melting in the vents. I called Envirotech Insulation, who then referred me to Fyfe's. I fully expected Mike to tell me what every other roofer tells me, "we can't do anything, this is Canada, all vents are the same", but he didn't say that. He told me there is a vent that prevents snow and ice but roofers don't use it because it is very expensive.

He came out the next day and replaced all 8 vents, and he even brought a new vent and an old vent inside and explained the differences. I am very satisfied with his fast response and knowledge, even giving me a break on the price. My only regret is that I didn't find him last year when I had my whole roof done!

Fyfe did my roof in Nov of 2017. I paid approximately $7500 dollars then and originally gave them a glowing review on Homestars.

In the March of 2018 I started having water pouring into my basement. I called Fyfe and told them what had happened.

To their credit, they did send someone over to look but I wasn't home.
They immediately claimed that the downspouts were blocked and that it wasn't their fault. Rather than calling me to tell me, they told my daughter.

This was on a tiny porch roof....around 70 sq feet, with 2 downspouts. It was not the main roof of the house.

I hired someone to come look at the problem. Turns out the 2 downspouts were full garbage that Fyfe didn't clean up... plastic bag pieces from shingle bags, cut pieces of new shingles, old shingle pieces, wood chips and my favourite, cigarette butts.

A year later, I still have a mostly intact plastic shingle bag hanging from the top of my crab apple tree that I can't get down.

I am attaching pictures of some of the debris from one of the 2 spouts. I didn't take pictures of the grass growing in the gutter this spring after they claimed to have cleaned it out or the crap that came out of the second downspout.

I have owned this home for 22 years and have never had a problem with blocked downspouts...ever.

This fiasco cost me $3000 of water damage in my basement, 2 weeks of cleanup plus a front garden being ripped out.

My experience with Fyfe in 2018 totally wiped out any positive feelings I had.

I am so disappointed that they do not have any kind of workmanship guarantee or followthrough.

I cannot recommend them.

Lost a a lot of shingles after the windstorms that hit earlier in the year. After getting the run around with insurance for close to 5 months we were able move ahead on this job.

Mike and his team were recommended by a friend and were a welcome change from the frustration that we were experiencing for all other parties that we dealt with.

The team arrived promptly and worked into the evening on a couple of the hottest days of the summer. Time will still tell, but the roof looks top notch, crew was very friendly and courteous, did a great job on the clean up and finish.
