Hi Lite Electric Inc.

We spent a lot of money repairing our light fixtures. The first time around the parts they brought were faulty. They left our light fixture open and parts everywhere for a weeks until they finally brought a new part to close the fixture. Within 1 week of finishing the job, the front light fixture started flickering. I have phoned several times about this issue over months and no one will come to fix it or investigate. Apparently if the part that they install is faulty, its our problem and there is absolutely no guarantee. So even after we spent over $1000 we are left with a constantly flickering light. What kind of company doesn't guarantee their repairs for even 1 month. What a complete disappointment!

Intermittently, over the last couple of weeks, we'd turn the lights on in the kitchen and they would flicker on their own with an audible buzz emanating from the switch. This was of great concern to us. I bought the new hardware from Canadian Tire and contacted Hi-Lite Electric. Matthew and his brother came the following day after my initial call to replace the light switch. All is well now and we feel safe again in our kitchen. I took advantage of their $25 coupon as I had work completed previously with them.

Tyler was terrific. We had an electrical outlet from the previous owner that was unsafe and against code. Tyler and his partner showed up and did a great job at a fair price. I would highly recommend Hi-lite Electric to anyone. They are a professional company that do it right.

My dishwasher stopped working after a sudden bang and lots of smoke emanating from it. I thought my dishwasher was fried. Safety was my first concern and thought I should check the electrical connections first, before worrying about fixing or replacing my dish-washer. I had no idea who to call. I found Hi-Lite online. My call was well received by a very polite and helpful Angela. She kept all her promises about timing. Technicians Mathew and Jeremy turned up on time. Their diagnosis was thorough and correct. They spotted the cause in a very difficult to access location and fixed it within an hour. Best of all my dishwasher works perfect. I'm glad I called Hi-Lite. They are honest, knowledgeable, punctual and polite. Canada should be proud of such service and such businesses who don't jump to any opportunity of ripping off customers in desperate situations.

I was having an issue with our power in some areas, found HiLite online and the came same day. They explained process and pricing clearly. Tricky job, a day after the repair, problem came back. I called spoke directly to Manager, he sent someone evening to accommodate me and resolved it. Owners hands-on and fair!

Tyler, the electrician from Hi-Lite, phoned prior to his arrival (as planned). He was punctual, and obviously knew what he was doing. He explained what he was going to do and discussed the price prior to the commencement of work. We highly recommend Hi-Lite!!

We had our fuse panel upgraded to breakers. The job was done within a day, checked and confirmed and passed hydro inspection. Reasonable across the board, very professional and contract was very detailed and easy to understand the scope of work. This is the second time I have used Hi Lite and recommend them. excellent work.

I had panel Upgrade, generator interface/cutover, and heavy outlets installed - Hi output led lighting installed.

Not having a contact for a good electrician I googled and found Hi-Lite Electric. They were courteous, professional, on time and informative. However I can't give this company a good review because of their pricing structure. Just a call out is $79.00 pretty standard I would assume but the quote I got before even diagnosing the cost was excessive. My mistake here is I assumed price would be adjusted if the work wasn't that significant. Well the electrician just had to re-wire a GFCI outlet, literally took 5 minutes. the invoice at the end was astronomical. I am still in shock. Their pricing method just seems to be outragous. Yes I could have cancelled and called another electrician but that would have been another service call charge. I would recommend this company modify their pricing model.

The Team at Hi-Lite Electric are exceptional. They immediately responded to my call and arrived the same day. No matter what the request the electrician always has the parts and is able to complete the job quickly and efficiently. Thank You for the continued great service!
