Kitchen &Bathroom renovation

I can almost find everything I need for my renovation project at one stop, Home Depot. They salesreps are knowledgeable and readily available to answer questions. Their home improvement seminars are helpful. I enjoy shopping at HD for my paints, floor coverings, light fixtures, window coverings, mouldings, repair kits, etc.

Carpets plus other depts

We have purchased carpeting at this Home Depot on 2 occasions. Both times found the staff in that Dept. very helpful answering questions & offering information. Interesting to read some other Home Depot Reviews and read that staff are not helpful or knowledgeable. Too bad H.D. are not known for same standard everywhere, but I guess it can vary by store.

kitchen

We added a new kitchen and we were worried about the cost of the project. But we shopped for our cabinets and flooring at Home Depot and found it simple. We had informative help, but we appreciated the quality and price the most...we did some shopping around, but for the mid-quality for price, it was very reasonable shopping here.

Baught 3 tubs for my new house

After I arrived at home depot, I had to wait 15 minutes before they were able to locate a person to help me out with the tubs. When he did show up, he knew all the information and quickly found me the one I wanted at another location and I was ablt to purchase it all within a few days.

light bulbs, shelves

I like the store since I know I'd be able to find pretty much everything there but the layout makes it difficult to find stuff. Employees weren't too helpful as well since they looked too busy though I'm not sure if they were helping other customers. Overall, I think having clearer signs and maybe having a directory scattered around would make it a more convenient shopping evperience.

kitchen renovation

The store is well organized.

Items are easy to find.

Some of the employees were helpful. Others avoided our eyes and walked past us fast as if they were on a very important mission. Others saw us coming and quickly disappeared in other isle.

Return policy is good.

Fridge/waterlines

No one knows what they are doing. I usually know more than the sales staff. The self-check-out is good. The only reason for going is they carry the supplies I need. I prefer going to Rona because they do have knowledgeable staff.

Kitchen renovation

Home Depot contracts installers that are not very good craftsmen. It took several visits to get the kitchen cabinets to hang properly (crooked doors, missing pieces). It also took a long time for them to deliver the missing parts and to reimburse their promotional discounts. I would not hire them again.
