kitchen faucet

The staff were not very helpful in the plumbing department. I am not sure if it was the time of day or how busy the store was. Or maybe because I am a woman.

Basement Renovation

I won't go anywhere else to buy what I need to do my home projects and renovations. Of course, I do compare prices and just look into the other big known Home Renovation Companies but nothing beats Home Depot, besides the convenience of having more than one location from where I live. Also, the service is always accessible and friendly.

Purchased toilett

We were very satisfied with the sales staff and service of this store. Assisted us in finding and bringing the toilett straight to our car. This was during the toilet rebate event. The store was very busy.

Redoing Blinds

I went into Home Depot to look for blinds. I found ones I liked and called the Home Depot to have someone come over and take a look at how much the blinds would then cost me. What ended up happening is that a Home Depot rep came over and before he began told us that if he did an estimate, it would cost us unless we purchased the blinds. Honestly I think an estimate should be a free service considering it is not complicated at all and requires just a few measurements. It also makes you feel pressured into buying the product to since you don't want to lose money. Thank god I liked the blinds, so I went ahead and got everything done, but I didn't like the idea of paying for an estimate at all.

The consultant was very knowledgeable and helpful. The estimate was very accurate. Delivery of the material was on time. Plus, unused materials could be returned without question! Questions during the renovation project were responded by the consultant politely. Overall, I am very happy about the services received from Home Depot.

Bamboo Hardwood

We recently installed bamboo flooring after the help of Home Depot. We where looking for a environementally friendly option. Which the rep led us to bamboo. The bamboo grass is one of the fasted growing plants on the planet, only takes 5 years to grow to maturity, and can provide 25 times the bio mass of a comparable stand of trees. Bamboo is harvested every 5 years, and starts to re-grow immediately with new shoots when harvested. Bamboo is also strong and has a tensile strength exceeding mild steel. We installed in our main floor, we love the look and feel of the floor! Would recommend.

Lighting

My husband and I had been looking for an urban chandelier for our bedroom and the lady that was working in lighting that day was so helpful. She asked what we were looking for and guided us in the right direction. There was a great selection...She even helped us pick out the right bulbs for it.

New Windows

They were very good service wise in terms of on-site visits to measure, quote, follow-up etc. Courteous and friendly. Delivery was when promised, no delays, quick, mess-free installation. Clean-up and removal of all old windows. Would purchase windows from the Home Depot again.

Kitchen Renovation

They are what you would expect from a large well-known and well-advertised company. Like they advertised, they did great helping us choose the kitchen best suited for our home and certainly provided timely services with the entire installation process. The designs available cater mostly towards the tradional and contemporary styles homeowners, which suited perfectly to our taste. Rich colours, well designed details. The person who did the schematic of the layout was excellent in maximizing the given space of the room. The few minor problems we encountered are actually with the associate company that made the delivery of the kitchen parts. Some of the parts were packed too large and heavily for the men (however big and strong) to handle. So this eventually resulted in some damage. Thankfully, we saw the damage before they delivery people left. Everything worked out later though. Overall, we received a gorgeous little kitchen in a really timely fashion!
