Ive paid $631.00 for lawn care which includes aeration and free bags of seed. I did not receive the seeds nor the aeration. When I called Hometurf, the customer service manager picked up the call. I told her that my last application was around July/August and I didnt receive any lawn application or the Aeration and seeds since. Her response was WHY ARE YOU CALLING NOW . She claimed to have called me 4 times prior, to mark my sprinklers. However, I did not receive any calls nor voice messages. I asked her if she didnt get any response over the phone, why didnt she send me emails or leave notices in my mailbox instead; as this
was how they usually communicate with me. She claimed to have someone come out 4 times; how come they didnt leave any notices or at least knock on the door?
Did I mention the lawn seed? Yep, they failed to deliver that as well; I guess they tried calling and needed me to flag the exact drop off spot on my curb.
Resolve: they provided me with a whopping $50 credit towards my next year, if I choose to use their services.
The Customer Service Manager was rude, impatient and unwilling to help. She was one of the worst customer reps Ive ever encounter. Ive spent $630, at least have the decency to provide normal customer service! Im not sure if it was a recorded conversation but I would really wish the owners of the company could listen back to the conversation and see first hand how the Customer Service Manager treats their customers. - I was literally laughing during the call because i thought it was a joke!
I really question how they got such a high rating on HomeStars!
