Ikea - Etobicoke

I LOVE IKEA! Whatever you need, you will find it there, and most likely at a price you won't believe! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and the merchandise is totally unique. After recently moving into a new place, my walls are now covered with Ikea shelves and pictures (they have great pictures AND frames). I could go there and buy something new every day! Just don't go on a Saturday when you're in a hurry - it's always packed!!

I had a great experience working with the staff at this location. They were helpful in terms of design and suggestions of how to pull my bedroom together. I look forward to working with them for the other rooms in my home!

I need to get new bedroom funiture and it was so easy to find everything I wanted and the prices were great as well. I got everything I needed and a few little extras. If I had a question the people on the floor were more then willing to help, even in the warehouse they helped me push my buggies around to different locations where I had to pick up my items. They were terrific

Great prices but not enough staff to service the customers.

I found a good selection and a wide varity of accessories for my bathroom. The small furniture items were easy to assemble and mount. The customer service at the Etobicoke location was excellent, they helped load everything into my car.

Recently we went to Ikea to get started on the kitchen cupboards and counters for our soon to be renovated kitchen. We were really happy with the service. They helped to show us that we can do our design on the computer. Once that was done they made suggestions for things that would make our kitchen flow better. We have since bought part of our kitchen (we are doing it in 2 parts - so we are without our kitchen space too long). Our second part will be done within the next month and we can't wait !

Ikea is a furniture store, a department store, a cafeteria, a home bulding supplier and shopping there can also be a baffling ordeal.
Well-known for its inexpensive construct-it-yourself furniture with unusual names and Swedish foods, Ikea also has a lot of interesting ideas for updating one's home & maximizing small spaces, particularly in the kitchen & bathroom.
Unfortunately, it is a bit too large & the layout can be frustrating to navigate. If you don't mind wading through thousands of flowerpots, lingonberry-scented tealight, candles, gaudy plush throw pillows and whatnot, it is a great spot to find bargains on cabinets, shelves & furniture.

My two sons age's 12 & 6 were out shopping for a desk for each of their rooms. We ended up visiting Ikea and to my delight they had the perfect desks, chairs, lamps etc., for both boys (age group and different styles). They were very happy. I was excited with the low price and now there is no more arguing at the kitchen table during homework as they now have their own space. In need for different furniture for different tastes? Head off to Ikea. It's worth fighting through the crowds.
