Darlene, Jeremy and their crew are very professional. They did a fantastic job of staining our stairs, banister, door and re-painting a mirror.

My parents were building a new home and we needed someone to stain the maple staircase. I did some research online and found this company.

They did an amazing job! We are all very happy with the finished staircase. It was a dark stain which can be difficult to do, but obviously it wasn't hard for them because the staircase turned out beautiful!

I've been searching for a company to restore our front door for over two years and was actually getting discouraged and thought our only option would be to purchase a new one. Jeremy was recommended from my contractor to do the staining of our maple staircase going downstairs. Very professional, clean and fantastic work. Staining a staircase is an art and Jeremey nows what he is doing.

After having a disapointed experience with our high end builder, we will be getting him to come and redo our main Maple staircase.

Darlene, Jeremy, and (sorry I forgot the other gentleman's name) came to our house to sand and stain our curved stairs. They did a great job and certainly did their best to contain the dust and fumes by sealing off other parts of the house with plastic. Of course, there is only so much this can do, the reality is it will be somewhat of a clean up afterward. Perhaps there is a high-tech machine that sucks all the dust up? At any rate, they were a great crew and started/left on time, and were very friendly and great to deal with. Everyone who has come to our house have been impressed with their work.

Darlene, Jeremy and their crew at Mr. Wood did an incredible job finishing my bar and railing on my stairs. I cound not locate anyone to do this work except for these guys. The project was completed in the time frame they said it would be and the price was very reasonable considering the work involved. I would use them again in a minute without any hesitation and would reccommend them to anyone looking to have similiar work done. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Darlene and her crew at Mr. Wood did an incredible job refinishing our open oak stairs.
They were the only company i could find that said they could complete the project without dismantling my staircase.
2 other companies told me i would have to move out for 2 to 3 weeks while the stairs were removed from the home, refinished and reinstalled.
This stair work was completed by Mr Wood while we were completing a major 3 month that turned into 6 month renovation to our home and was the only scope of work that was completed on time and on budget with no surprises except how great it looks.
They had to match our oak stairs to our mahogany front door and bannister.
Darlene spent alot of time and effort with my wife and I to custom make a stain that matched perfectly. I was told by otherd that this was not possible but they did it and it looks great.
I know i will use them again and i will reccommend them to anyone looking to have some wood refinnished.

27 years ago we bought our current home and had a 3 story free floating staircase that required stripping and refinishing.
Being quite young then I looked in the yellow pages and found only a handful of furniture and staircase refinishers in the city. I took a leap of faith and decided to choose "MR. WOOD"
They did such a spectacular job and changed the colour to a beautiful rosewood. The staricase looks spectacular then and now, if not better than the day it was finished. It has been the focal point of our home and we have received compliment upon compliment over the last 3 decades.
My son has now purchased a home and required some staining and refinishing of cherrywood. MR. WOOD is still around but now the original founder' son is carrying on the name and the business.
He learned the craft from his father who was a master, Jeremy takes the same pride and pays the same attention to detail as his dad did.
His mom still helps him out, it truly is a family business that cares about their work.
My son and I were truly pleased with the workmanship and would not hesitate to refer MR. WOOD to anyone.

crew came in , taped all areas, worked very hard for 6 days, matched the colours perfectly and were very good to deal with. would recomment this company. did not have any issues dealing with them
