We were undertaking an extensive reno in the kitchen and adjoining family room and hired Nanette of Nanique Interiors. She helped us finalize the kitchen cabinets, finishes and the layout. She also brought us to a number of vendors to select the countertop, backsplash, sink and faucet and lighting fixtures. But most importantly, I found that Nanette is an expert at selecting colours. She worked closely with the kitchen manufacturer in helping us pick out just the right colours. Seeing how well she knew her colours, we went out of our normally boring choices and went with her suggestions. We are so happy with the finished product and we owe a lot of it to Nanette's guidance.

Removal of late 1980's large recreation room with oversized bar, small combined washroom and laundry room. Replaced with new 9 x 10 4th bedroom with custom built queen size captain's bed and California style closest insert. New 11 x 13 sitting area the with wood burning style gas stove in a corner setting and LED puck lights on dimmer. Bedroom and sitting area wall to wall carpet.
New hardwood floor 6 x 20 at the bottom of the stairs leads to a new mini wet bar with wine cooler and granite counter top. Hardwood matches the hardwood installed 3 years earlier in the upstairs maintains a continuous uniform look from upstairs to the basement. New 5 x 21 enlarged combined laundry room and 3 piece bathroom. New cabinets over the washer and dryer and a counter top over the washer and dryer to provide folding and ironing space. Bathroom area has large vanity with full mirror and a large glass walled shower. Heated ceramic floor in the laundry room and washroom walking areas including the floor of the shower. Small open shelf floor to ceiling linen cabinet. LED puck lighting in the ceiling. Old hanging ceiling replaced with new fixed ceiling in bedroom, sitting area and laundry/bathroom. Reworked all plumbing, wiring and duct work. All new wallboard walls painted and baseboard installed. All old studding, wiring,plumbing and insulation removed and replaced with new spray foam insulation done after new studding, wiring, plumbing and insulated floor were installed. Design work by Nanique Interiors and Balmoral Construction Group. All construction work by Balmoral all on time and on budget.
Looking for a great renovation experience the combination of Nanette from Nanique Interiors and Peter Lum of Balmoral Construction Group is a sure winner. Recommend without any hesitation the use of both or either party for your next renovation. If you want the job done right you will not find a better combination in the GTA.

Nanette helped us pick paint colours for our home, and recommended painters to do the work as well. We are very happy with all of the work that was done, and are loving our colourful home!

Nanette and her contacts - Melena (Hunter Hill Painting & Design) and Masoud (Atlas Build) did a phenomenal job on our place. We wished that we asked the builder to do nothing inside and ask Masoud and Melena to do all the work because their attention to detail and their finish is excellent. We were very impressed with their workmanship. They were also very respectful especially when we moved in and the work was still being completed, keeping the place tidy and livable for us. A special thank you to Masoud for his keen eye in getting the most usable space out of our furnace room.

Nanette has a great eye for design and had amazing vision for our place. From the paint selection, furniture selection, art placement and custom closets with Kaylie (Custom Closet Organizers)...we were very happy with the design project. Everything just came together perfectly and we cannot imagine it any other way.

I hired Nanette to manage the renovation of my older two-bedroom condo. She did a great job at staying on top of the reno, providing advice for bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, flooring, paint colours, etc.

Her trades are fantastic - Masoud at Atlas Build did a superb job! We moved out for the two-month renovation, but when things ran over a bit and we had to move back in, they made sure things were put away securely at the end of each day so that my toddler was very safe.

The renovation included completely renovating two bathrooms, adding soundproofing in the ceiling (so much quieter now!), changing all of the flooring, doors, trim, adding crown mouldings, changing light fixtures, blinds (motorized is the way to go!), converting his & hers closets into a walk-in, and built-in shelving for all closets.

My condo is beautiful and very functional now. It reflects my personality through the great colours and fixtures. If I have to do another renovation, Nanette will be the ONLY person I call for design and managing the renovation. (I've already recommended her to several people!)

This is long overdue! Nanette helped us over a year ago with redecorating our basement, which is where my husband and I spend most of our time when we are home. Nanette really took the time to get to know our taste, style and how we will use the space.

She has a very keen eye for colour and combinations that we wouldn't have selected on our own, but have beautiful results. She also knows how to "trick" the eyes into believing a space is bigger than it is, purely with placement of colour.

We also had access to purchase amazing carpet and sectional not otherwise available to us had she not introduced us.

She also recommended a great team to do the painting and light construction for us, who we were very happy with.

I want to renovate a 2 bedroom condo just bought. I found Nanette from Internet. There are outstanding reviews about her, so I decide to give it a try. She is just wonderful. We spent three hours on color, floor, lighting and other great ideas. She also helped me with sofa color selection.
