Foundation Waterproofing

We were impressed with how soon they were available to start the work after we accepted their quote, and they owner graciously answered all of our many questions before they started. He even gave us a small discount for preparing the work area in advance since we were looking to save money because the foundation leak was an expensive surprise we had not budgeted for this year.

There were a few things that didn't go smoothly. First, they didn't want to get a building permit from the Town of Halton Hills before starting. It seems that a permit is not required in the City of Toronto for this type of work, so they were not used to needing to apply for a permit. But, all of my calls to Town of HH indicated that it was needed. So, we arranged for and paid for the permit so we could protect ourselves in the event that there was a problem with their work.

The second problem was that our newly installed eavestroughs were left damaged in two locations. Once the damage was brought to the owner's attention, one of the workers returned the same day to reimburse us for the cost of the repairs. The worker admitted to knowing about the damage during the work and decided not to say anything to us or the owner in hopes that we wouldn't notice. At least we were compensated, but we recommend you check the work area before you pay them.

A big thank you to the owner for addressing our complaint about the eavestroughs as soon as he was made aware.

My job was completed in one day.

First off all, I want to say thanks to New Canadian Drain & Plumbing for such a fast and high professional service. I really like the work they did on my property. Before the long weekend and I was finishing my laundry and notice that something went wrong. I filed a strong smell in my basement and water start fluting. I was totally lost, so I start searching in internet and calling to all this famous and well known companies, but nobody showed up except New Canadian. Technician did estimate on my drain with special equipment, I was asking about all the things what needs to be done guy`s explain everything on very high professional level , give me an idea about the job price it was very reasonable quote so we sign up contract. Next morning crew come and start to do the work outside. They dig out the hole, pull off drain(full of tree roots), install a new part and fill up the hole. Friendly speaking I think that is so massy job that I was really spruced that they did it so clean that anything else left, except a small hole. NO dirt, NO garbage, really clean and well done job.

Broken Toilet

My 11 year old son decided to experiment with the toilet and see what it was capable of. Needless to say, to this moment my husband and I no idea what he attemted to flush. We contacted New Canadian Drain and Plumbing, Which was highly recommended to us by a friend of the Family. Well let me tell you, This was probably the best referal I've ever had. A plumber arrived within 1/2hr, he was the most polite and professional servicemen I've met in years. He tried every thing he possibly could to unplug the toilet. After about 40min we both came to the conclusion that we needed a new toilet. He went to pick up a toilet for us, installed it and cleaned up all the mess the little one had created. The people at New Canadian have more then exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them. Also the cost was very reasonable. A pleasure to deal with. Thanks Again, Melinda.

New 3/4" water supply, old exterior trap removed and double cleanout installed, new 3 pc rough in for new bathroom, relocate existing water meter.

Thanks so much to the crew of New Canadian Drain that came out to our rescue when my wife and I were left stranded by other plumbers. Such a quick response to our initial call made us feel important and provided the reassurance that we were dealing with professionals. Steve Martel was out in no time to provide advice, options and a quotation, and answered the many questions we had about our project.
Steve reassured us that he'd be sending a top quality representative to complete our project, and that he did. Vladimir represented New Canadian in a professional manner, arrived exactly when he said he would, took extra care to ensure that drop tarps were used to keep the work area as clean as possible and, like Steve, answered any questions we had with patience and willingness. It was admirable watching him work with such care, he truly is a master at his trade. Our whole project, which we thought would take weeks, was completed in 3 days!! WOW

Thanks again New Canadian Drain

fixed my sewer backup problem due to tree roots in old clay pipes

New Canadian Drain and Plumbing exceeded my expectations in totally replacing our root-filled clay pipes that had holes the size of watermelons. That situation had led to a sewer backup in my basement which resulted in the entire basement being torn up. From the knowledgable marketing reps to the experienced diggers, everyone associated with this company found workable solutions and gave first-rate service. I was originally put on to them by a friend and will certainly give them a strong recommendation to anyone who is faced with a similar challenge. And for the second time in a month, I called upon them last week to install a three-prong waterproofing system because of a secondary flood due to a leaking foundation. Once again, they went above and beyond.

Toilet

New Canadian Drain and Pluming Ltd. previously installed my toilet (did a great job). Some time after I noticed some water on my insulation in my basement. Thinking it was a leak, I called another company (thinking New Canadian didn't do basements) for a inspection. They came (will remain nameless) and advised it was a "huge job" and gave me an ridiclously high quote. I couldn't beleive it, so by chance I called New Canadian to see if they could perhaps do anything, or refer me somewhere. They actually told me they do indeed do to this type of basement work. They arrived the next day, and told me there was no leak at all, but mearly condensation!! They actually took down a portion of my insulation, ran the hose outside against the foundation for quite a while, and remained there for quite a while after just to ensure there was no leak. Then, and to this date there has been no leak!!
