What a great experience from start to finish. From my initial dealings with Debbie who always made herself available to answer my many questions and who gave us some great suggestions on how to decide on colour. Bob who completed the work, siding installed on front of house and all wood capped, did an amazing job and was a true pleasure having around. The house looks great, thank you both Debbie and Bob. We look forward to future projects.

I contacted QHI to place some flashing over wooden frames that were starting to rot and warp beside my siding. The man they sent did an excellent job and even framed around my sliding glass door for free. The new flashing looks great and has really improved the look of my home. They have done other jobs on my street and the results always look great, I would use this company again.

In the last big windstorm our siding came loose. I called QHI and spoke to Debbie who explained many people had damage. Within a couple of days from contact, a service worker called to say he’d be by. He cameand fixed the siding within about 15 minutes. It’s as good as new

I cannot recommend Quality Home Improvements Oshawa enough. I recently purchased a 'fixer upper' home and I contracted QHI to replace four windows and install new vinyl siding, fascia, soffit and eavestroughing to the whole house. Installation included insulation for the siding and leaf guards for the eavestroughing. I obtained a number of quotes prior to hiring QHI and although some contractors offered similar quotes the installation offered used inferior products, did not include products such as insulation in the price' or did not appear to have the same level of expertise; one company quoted double and did not include the four windows. From my first interaction to completion of the work QHI were professional, consistent, and delivered more than promised. The crew that completed work on my home addressed any questions I had and provided solutions to the many needs identified in upgrading an older property. Dave's amazing attention to detail deserves a special mention as well as all he the extra jobs he completed that came up along the way - fixing an unexpected rotten door frame, replacing all external light fixtures, addressing and repairing areas not included in the contract such as cladding door frames, addressing gaps in the foundation blocks, re-installing window treatments - I could go on). The work was completed from beginning to end within 7-8 working days. I would highly recommend Quality Home Improvements Oshawa.

A year ago we had all our windows and patio door replaced by Quality Home Improvements. We choose them in large part because their ratings all were 10's. We would probably have given them the same rating immediately after the work was done because everything looked good.

The problem started when winter came and we experience a draft coming through one of the ground floor windows. The window opens with a crank and we had cranked it closed. However it seems the top part of the window does not close flush even when fully cranked closed thus allowing cold air to come in. I realized we had not locked it but even when I tried locking it there was still a gap for air to come in. I had to unlock the window, go outside and force the window closed and have my wife inside lock it in that position.

We waited till the spring to call Quality Home Improvements to get the window fixed. It took several phone calls and several emails by my wife to finally get them to send a guy to come out to look at it. He saw the problem but said he couldn't fix it but would get someone else out to do it. No one came for weeks and weeks and finally I gave our salesman a call to say that I would be writing a review about this stating everything that happened. He immediately promised to get someone out to fix it.

Finally the installer came today 3 months after we first complained. He checked the window and saw that it didn't close flush when you crank it. However, he said that because it now will close flush when you lock it (probably because I forced it last winter) that's as good as it gets. I said fine because I was too tired to fight anymore.

The moral of the story I guess is to make sure everything is fine before you make your final payment because you are not going any customer service after that.

I had Quality Home Improvements install new gutters and fascia 4 or 5 years ago and I was happy with their work. I asked them for a quote on a new patio door, a new bay window, and 5 other windows. I was given a quote and the final price never varied. The workmanship was first rate, the job was completed in a timely manner, everything regarding usage of each product was fully explained to me, the workers totally cleaned up before they left to the extent that I couldn't find anything to throw out. Debbie is first rate and stayed on top of the project. Our next upgrade will be new siding on the house and Quality Home Improvements are the only company that will get the call to do the work. Would I recommend this company to my family and friends. MOST DEFINITELY

The Quote I received was the Price I paid!
I had purchased 2 patio doors...both had Grids inside the glass and one had a key lock! Both doors also had extra locking attached for extra security! All priced in the Quoted cost
The installers were great and did not rush! They also took time to explain things when I asked them a question.
What a difference a small change like new doors can make to your house! It looks so different now! I LOVE IT!

I am now having my full eaves and soffits replaced with this Company!

Although I can not remember the cost as my double door system was installed about 5 years ago, I do remember that it was very well priced. The customer service is amazing, and the owner Debbie is extreamly friendly, and she made sure we were happy with the doors after they were installed. The men that installed the door system were clean and efficiant. Very happy with this company and will not go anywhere else for my windows and doors.
