doors for home renovation

I was trying to keep the heating costs down in my drafty Victorian home and so was looking for some doors to put up in 5 different doorways in my home. I really didn't want to pay too much and I also wanted to find some older doors to keep the style of the rest of the home consistent. I went to the re-store and was amazed at what I found. They were actually having a sale on doors, and I was able to buy 5 doors for a super low price. Each door was listed at around $80 and they were actually reduced to about $5 each! What a find! The salespeople were really helpful and courteous and I will definitely return to the Re-Store for future projects!

Heating Grates

What a gem of a place where you never know what treasures you may find. I was looking for heating grates to match the original ones in my home. Thinking I had to venture out of the city to scour the various salvage centres, low and behold, ReStore had exactly what I was looking for! Check back often as their stock is constantly changing.

bathroom

Great selection! We were able to find a full bathroom cabinet and sink set that fit perfectly in our small bathroom. The people that work here are really helpful, and the profits go to an amazing cause! The best part is you re-use perfectly good product that would have been destroyed and in the dump if not for this store. Let's all support it!

Cheap paint

I got some cheap cast-off paint. If you don't need an exact colour this place will do. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. and some good quality stuff too. lots of other items to be found at this store too. Some seemed very reasonability priced.

Doors, railing, light fixtures

I went into the Restore for the first time a few weeks back and was blown away by the beautiful, inexpensive (yes, second hand) treasures they have there. We gutted our house last year and didn't know about the Restore. If I ever "gut" again, my first stop will be the Habitat for Humanity Restore and I will avoid retailers as much as possible. You should definitely check it out. BTW, I had to put in a price to submit the review, but the costs depend on what you're looking for and what they have that day. Shipments come in all the time!

Lighting Fixtures - so expensive! But not at restore!

I cannot recommend the ReStores (all three branches) enough for finding great deals. I was looking for lighting fixtures - had purchased some at Ikea but once I put one up, I realized how 'cheap' they truly are - and lo and behold, I stumbled upon two Starck lighting fixtures from italy for a mere $50. If I were to buy these fixtures new, I would have paid up to $1000 a piece - yes it's true - I saw the exact same thing online. Only a tiny bit of damage on one fixture, and some missing screws on another, both issues easily hidden or fixed, made these one of the best deals I have ever found (and I love a good deal). You should go there.
