Student Works Painting

Left site believing they were finished, I called to tell them they were not.
Some windows painted, but not opened, some not painted, doors not painted, railing not painted. I told Cameron that I expected that all exposed wood ,would be painted. After delay, with sickness and rain, two students arrived yesterday, and completed work.
In the end I told my family, I was 100% happy with the price, 90-95 % happy with work. I would hire again hoping for better communication, at completion of work.

I reached out to Zack on a whim not sure if I would here back. He got back to me promptly and was very professional! He came out quickly to offer a quote and go the job done as promised!

After a few cancellations by manager, as he was waiting on a rainy day to wash house.
The workers arrived.
Then they left as had no ladders ( the back of the house does not require ladders) then they had no hose to wash house, then no pressure washer, they left after 3hrs with minimal attempt at any work, different workers arrived the next day, no pressure washer, they then sourced pressure washer, only for it to run out of gas. 5hrs later, the rain started, which I completely agree that if the pressure cleaner is plugged into power source it would be unsafe to carry on. ( so much for managers excuse to wait for rain)
This job was meant to be a paint of my home, contract signed beginning of March, but cancelled just out with timeline for refund mid April. Work was due to commence mid June ( no materials were bought within that time as I asked) and was goodwill to clean my house.
But honestly, keeping my dog in as couldnt let her out when workers were here, constant barking, and non productive for no equipment was not a happy experience.
Think twice, the workers carrying out attempt to clean house were lovely, but management couldnt organise a party in a pub!!
I told the workers not to come back. Lesson learnt.

The project was staining a fairly large old and weathered pergola. They power washed it , completely sanded it and applied 2 coats of stain. The workers were courteous and diligent and I was pleased with the final product. I will definitely use them again in future.

Gergo and the Student Works team did a fantastic job on staining the exterior wood siding of our home. They were extremely professional, communicated incredibly well, and were organized to get the work done to the highest quality. The team was friendly and everyone worked with us to make sure that the project was completed to the standards we wanted. Our wood siding hadnt been stained in decades when we bought the home and was chipped and sun stained. The house looks brand new, and even the most damaged facades were carefully sanded and stained with multiple coats to even out the texture. I felt the team went above and beyond to help and did a stellar job. 11/10 stars. Would recommend them to anyone looking to get a painting job done. Our cedar siding had been severely neglected over the years and the old stain was or had flaked off. The job required removal of the old stain remnants followed by two new coats of solid stain. The crew had to work thru several rain delays and while originally hoping to complete the job in 5 days it took 10 days. We were always kept in the loop on the delays and are happy with the results. Phots show before and after look of our home.

We had a approx 8X10 shed painted in two tone and 3 window panes painted, an exterior door painted in two tone inside & outside with trim and 2 decks stained (one approx 18X20 and the other approx 4X8 with stairs and railing plus a side on the smaller deck). all of the colour choices were ours, the cans of paint and stain were supplied from the company. The cost we posted included all tax plus Dulux exterior paints and stain, labour, scraping, wiping down, painting 2-3 coats where needed 3 coats and staining the decks one coat, which was our choice of one coat only. We were very impressed with the work completion by Addison, he worked hard, carefully and efficiently and had the projects completed in a timely manner of 2 days and 2 hours on the third morning! We are enjoying the new look of our outdoor surroundings on our home! Thank you Zach & Addison!
