The Chimney Company founder, William Bassels has been in the construction and real estate business for over 25 years.
In 1994 he began specializing in the chimney building & repair and lining industry.
He would obtain his W.E.T.T. certificates for “Technician and Sweep” and "SITE Basic Inspector" shortly after.
Not being completely satisfied he contacted “Toronto Municipal Licensing & Standards” to be tested for chimney repairs and installation.
He passed the exam and obtained a license as a “Chimney Repairman”.

In 1997 The Chimney Company was officially incorporated and carries all the necessary credentials, license, certificates, workers coverage, liability insurance and guarantees.

Rebuilt chimney

Chimney Build & Repair review in Toronto

The Chimney Company came recommended to me by my roofer, Mega City Roofing. I couldn't go ahead with the roof without the chimney being done. Bill told me he was exceptionally busy, but I was prepared to wait till he was available. Sure enough, it did take a few weeks before he could do the job, but once here, was prompt, very polite, easy to deal with and obviously very proud of what he does - and rightfully so. It's too bad one only gets to hire guys like these once per house (hopefully) because once you've found them, you really want them to do more.

New Chimney

Bill from the Chimney Company rebuilt our 35 year old chimney before we could re-do our roof. We sought out other quotes before we went ahead with him and his price was the most competitive. His work was great. We have an unique colour brick and he was able to match it up so that it blended in with the house. Even the roof company commented what a good job he did!

Now that I have joined Homeowners I am now able to thank you for one of our earliest appreciated review.
