Keith did a great job rebuilding and reupholstering my grandmother's couch and throughout the process he was easy to work with. When I first arrived at the studio he had a great selection of fabrics for me to look through and gave me clear advice on what fabrics would work well.
Then when it came time to get the couch delivered to him to start the work the men who came were polite and careful.
The work took a few weeks, which was fine with me. It's a very solid piece that may be as much as 100 years old, but the springs had fallen through and the upholstery was dirty after many years of use (the last time it was upholstered was in the 1980s.) Keith told me how impressed he was by the solidness of the frame, which he thought was probably made of walnut wood. And when he discovered springs in the sofa's back as well as the bottom he seemed delighted. He said that's unusual and means it was very well made.

The sofa is back in my living room now. It looks great, and whenever I sit on it it feels good to know that it was repaired by someone who enjoyed and appreciated its uniqueness.
