Work Around The House No Longer In Business

New to Toronto I had contacted several companies to do some work on my condo. A co-worker suggested I give them a call. Chris came by a day later and took a look at the work that needed to be done, made some great suggestions and quoted a price.

I needed track lighting installed in the livingroom, my bathroom and kitchen painted and some general repairs here and there.

His quote was a little higher but he explained what the differences in price were and why he thought it should be done that way.

He had other commitments and could not get to my work for three weeks but the work began the day he promised and finished when he promised.

No surprises in the work- it was great-no surprises in the price, it was exactly as quoted. They are professionals in all sense of the word and I will defintely be calling them for future renovations.

1st time - job: replaced a missing exterior shingle on the outside wall. they came and did the work with no fuss.

2nd time - job: replace central humidifier. No one showed up as scheduled. Called them and they arranged another date. Again. No one showed up. No follow up call to reschedule.

Reply to Company Response Dec 19, 200 - excuses escuses excuses. If I nickled and dimed you, you could simply refused the job Why did you agreed to come twice but no showed up?
