Last year my mom had her roof done by Baron Roofing. My mom is in her 80's and lives on her own. Baron was to replace any wood that needed to be replaced with plywood (her original was tongue and groove)
In his day, my dad would have been watching the job from start to finish but now that mom is on her own and it was in writing that the necessary wood would be replaced with plywood, she was not vigilante on watching what was going on. This year, a fire occurred in the home and the ceilings in the home has all been ripped down. Looking up you can see that even though her contract states plywood and she was charged for plywood sheets, Baron cheapened out and used only chipboard to replace any wood that needed replacing.
Beware if you use them and watch what they are doing. Do you really get what they state on their contract - I wonder now if she even got the 30 year shingles as was contracted - have they cheapened out on this also? I would not use them.
