Space Age Closets And Custom Cabinetry

The entire experience was a good one. I reached out through homestars for a company to contact me with a quote by email only and Harry was able to give me a good ball park number before the visit. Other companies quoted higher for lower quality materials or designs.

I had narrowed it down to this company and one other… and just the hint that there was another company the other contender decided not to come! They were not willing to send someone on the weekend unless I was ready to leave a deposit.

Long story short, Harry drew up some plans on the spot and took my deposit of 25% which I appreciated could be payed by Visa.

He was willing to have it installed immediately that weekend but we made it for the march break cause I wanted to fix the walls and paint before the install. We negotiated a discount as I would do this part but the company offered to come on two separate occasions to demo and install. No other company offered to do this.

The install went well, he was a hard worker… worked from 9-1pm straight with no break.

There was a little bit of damage to the walls but I had the paint to fix that so it was not a big issue. The installer had to return to fix the level of the center shelf with a simple shim. Most would not have noticed but I am an extremely picky person, its very hard for me to give a company 10 out of 10.

There was a little more dust in our bedroom that I would have liked but he did his best to clean up.

If I were to do it again I might have asked that the rods be a little lower than they are now as there is no storage above the shelves and a bit of a gap between the clothes. (Harry had suggested I have a taller rod since I’m 6’2” tall, however my clothes are not really longer than the average person).

The closet now swallows up our clothes with ease and I don’t have to use the closet from other bedrooms to store our clothes.

My wife said she wishes our house was as organized as our closet.

We are very happy we did this project, it was long overdue.

The closet looks amazing! It was installed quickly by the next day we were able to start using it. it’s spacious and organized which will help us keep all of the donated clothing we get neat and presentable so our kids feel dignified getting a clean pair of clothes! Very sturdy and durable looking too, this will last us for years!

Thought I'd send you a quick note to let you know that earlier today one of your very capable installers (Sean) came and installed the custom closet in my condo's master bedroom closet. I have to tell you that I am very pleased with the end result and very pleasantly surprised of all the additional space that I gained as a result. The quality of the material was top notch and the color was exactly what I wanted.

I already had my next door neighbour comment and ask about where I got my closet from, as she saw the drawers and other pieces in the hallway just after it was unloaded from the elevator. I've invited her to drop by to see the finished closet and will be more that happy to refer her to you.

My experience with Space Age Closets was great.
Harry was really good at putting my ideas onto paper and making recommendations on changes to make the built in better. The team were immensely helpful in fixing my “panic attack” when I missed picking different knobs for the bathroom built-in. I’m glad I changed the bathroom ones – they now work well with the vanity ones. This was a last minute order change that they pushed to get through for the same install dates. The guys that came to install were really professional, courteous and hard working. They cleaned up after the install. My overall experience was really good. I'm now having them design and install a built-in in my basement.

In regards to your service, it has been a pleasure working with all involved right from walking in the door to your store, to the clean and organized job Sean did in my front closet.
