Ottawa Duct Cleaning

I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, cleanliness and advice. The cleaning was quick and thorough. The staff were very pleasant and suggested that I use a different type of furnace filter in the future. I went right out and purchased the recommended filter. The photos that they shared with me of my dirty ducts vs. the clean ducts were incredible! I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will call them again when my ducts require cleaning!

We were having problems with our dryer and had it repaired and it turned out that the dryer duct was blocked, reducing air flow.
I found this company through google search and read through the reviews and decided to try them. I am VERY glad I did! They were courteous, professional and quick. They had to come back a second time because we had some unusual extra 'elbows' in our dryer vent and they did not even charge for the return visit.
We will certainly hire them again and would recommend them to anyone!

We had not had the ducts cleaned in 15+ years and have had hardwood floors installed throughout in 2006 and major home renovations in 2008 and 2014. Our house had become one big, constant dustbowl. Ones hats so much about duct cleaning horrors, so we researched as carefully add we could. The reviews for Ottawa Duct Cleaning were compelling and convincing and our experience was as positive and exactly as described by everyone else here. We are extremely pleased.

On time. Three hard-working lads who were extremely courteous, very patience and mindful of not scaring my elderly pet (and without my asking, they even advised me on when to move him from a different room and back based on not wanting to expose him to too much noise or stress from the equipment). Took great care in explaining every step of the process and left the house spotless. They did not try to sell me on any additional services nor did they surprise me with the costing. And the before and after photos were an added bonus. Great job lads!

I have a duct cleaning before Christmas. Roger and his team did great duct cleaning and answered my many many questions patiently on how the furnace to work. I liked to pay in cash but did not have enough. Roger allowed me to pay him the day after and answered me more questions.

Last night was extremely cold. My furnace stopped working and failed to restart for a couple of hours. My house inside was 10C on Sunday morning. I could not figure out the problem by myself, so I tried to call Roger for his advice, even though knew this is not part of his obligated services. Again, Roger spent more a half hour over phone to explain what a potential problem could be and instructed me to check parts of my furnace at basement then tell him what I saw.

Fortunately, my house temperature is 21c now. I hope we will survive another extreme cold tonight.

I am really touched by Roger's personality. Trust him and his team will provide professional services. I will stay with him for my future service needs.

To my knowledge our ducts had never been cleaned and as a best practice and to prevent any damage to our heater I decided to get them cleaned.

The team that arrived at our home was very friendly and polite. They worked hard non-stop and ensured I was happy with the service throughout the cleaning. They even took before and after pictures as they cleaned the ducts :)

I hired Ottawa Duct Cleaning after having drywall work done in our stairs and entrance.

The dust was a mess so we wanted to make sure it didn't get into our furnace system before we needed to use it.

The guys came out on time and went straight to work.

They were very courteous and professional and asked in advance if we had any concerns or questions and also took care with their hoses and equipment.

In addition to providing exceptional service, I was advised that we should have a carbon monoxide and what brands they recommended.

Jake, Andrew and Derek showed up on time and worked efficiently and thoroughly. They were courteous and informative: Jake explained exactly what they were doing in a polite non-condescending way and walked us through the pictures afterwards with a helpful suggestion about having our furnace service company clean the fan blades. Derek spotted a problem with the cold air return and suggested how it might be resolved. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and will use them next time around. If only I could find an electrical contractor like this!
