We recently hired Andrew's Restoration after seeing their amazing reviews on HomeStars. The brickwork on our chimney had been crumbling for the past ten years, and we had cracks running through the mortar beneath one of our windows. Within a day of contacting the company through HomeStars, we received a call from the owner, Andrew. He provided us with a wealth of information - he's extremely knowledgable and honest. His crew arrived on time every day and kept the area impeccably clean. They replaced the brickwork on our chimney and repaired the cracked mortar. The work perfectly matches our existing brickwork. We couldn't be happier with the exceptional service provided and would highly recommend them.

The sill under the sliding door split in half. Andrew provided data on how it would be repaired and the work done was true perfection as he also worked it into the existing stonework. After seeing the completed worK, I asked Andrew to repair the steps in the back. He provided options to repair the steps. The option was to level the ground to the existing stonework and pour cement steps. The work done was fantastic. The steps look as though they were part of the original stonework. Andrew and his team were professional, on time and the area was cleaned after the work was completed. I would definitely call Andrew again!!

Very responsive and great communication right from my first call through to questions I had after the job was complete. Masonry can be messy but they did a great job at protecting my property and cleaning up afterwards. My job was not a large one but they still treated me well and were very punctual. I would strongly recommend Andrew's Restoration for any brick or masonry jobs.

In the attached photo see the top right window, I had what appeared to be a row of bricks sliding out. I wanted to address this early rather than later.

Andrew was able to review my photos and explain what looked to be the result of seasonal freeze-thaw stresses being put on the smooth quoin (corner) block. Due to adhesion issues from those stresses, he identified that it would be prudent to scaffold-up to remove and reinstall block. Thank you for taking care of this so quickly, professionally, and efficiently!

We recently moved into a 140-year-old home, and have been working our way through cleaning the place up to make sure it lasts another 140y. After talking to a few masons, we hired Andrew's Restoration to come out and help sort out the chimneys.

As part of the quoting, I had a great chat with Andrew. I sent him a series of photos, and we went through options and costs. He was clear, reasonably priced, and didn't try to obfuscate what was needed or up-sell anything unnecessary.

We had them out to rebuild the main chimney, which services two wood burning fireplaces. It was covered in stucco at some point a few decades ago, and the bricks & mortar above the roofline had completely rotted away. They took that down, built it back up from new brick. They did a great job matching the old, didn't mind our toddler constantly wanting to look in on their progress, and were friendly and polite throughout.

We had also discovered a decommissioned floating chimney, starting in our 2nd floor bathroom and ending in the attic, with no support walls under it on the first floor. They took a look, quoted a reasonable number to take it down, and worked with us to come out and remove it during a 1-week window between our removing old insulation and adding new to the attic. It was a messy and cramped job, but they got it out and hauled away ~1000 pounds of bricks that had been floating in our ceiling.

Both jobs were well executed, in a timely manner. I'll certainly be using them again if any additional masonry work is needed.

We moved into a house that is over 100 years old. The stone porch and chimney had been very poorly maintained. The crew from Andrews Restoration disassembled the chimney down to the roof, cleaned the old stone for reuse and rebuilt the chimney with a beautiful new cap. The same care was taken with the work on the porth. And they blended it all into the stone that was in good repair so well the whole thing looks original. Amazing work.

Andrew and his staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. The workman were timely and very professional. Most importantly the workmanship was impeccably done. I would have no hesitation to recomend Andrew's Masonry.

The brick window sills on our home were deteriorating—- pieces of brick breaking off and getting worse each year. We finally (and thankfully) reached out on homestars.
