Acadian Contractors

My mother and I hired Acadian Contractors to do a big job on our old house. There was external waterproofing to be done all around the house and new concrete and stonework to be graded in the back yard. Demir was friendly at first but became very unprofessional as the work went on. He would tell us he would be there one day and then not show up. Days would pass and no one would come to work on the house. Garden soil was taken up from our backyard and replaced in our neighbour's yard! It took this company 4 months to complete the job, and it is actually not completed. They cut the electrical that leads to our garage in order to do the work in the backyard and then never came back to fix it. Be careful when dealing with this company. They have many good reviews and I wonder why when we are still looking for someone to fix the job they left behind.

My basement was leaking. Acadian's quote was comparable to everyone else's and it also included retiling.
It's been a couple of weeks now and we've had a couple of downpours and the basement is dry.

I wanted to replace all the mortar between the brinks of my aging bungelow. Don showed up to give me a quote on a long weekend! It was a very messy job, but the crew cleaned up well after each day and ensured my neighbours were not too inconvenienced.

After having several quotes done, we had Acadian Contractors (Damir) give us a quote on water proofing our leaky basement. They were mid-priced -- we didn't trust the guy who gave us the lower quote. The guys showed up on the day they were suppose to and finished the next day. They performed all of the work the higher bidders offered and the guys were professional (Mario and the team). We highly recommend Acadian for water proofing basements.

Dave the Roofer was great. His crew was so good I never even saw them! They came to do the work while I was out at my job and they cleaned up and left before I ever had a chance to meet them. Dave was on time, fast, professional when providing my quote. He went ON to my roof and took photos to get a clear understanding of what was needed. He told me not to do certain things that were not needed which saved me money in the long term. I appreciated his knowledgeable approach. I would recommend this team to anyone! We hired Acacian Contractors Ltd for 2 waterproofing projects , tuckpointing and to install a new flat and shingle roof at two of our properties. We had the pleasure of dealing with Damir Grando. Right from the very first meeting with Damir , he was so professional,pleasant and made us feel very comfortable. He was so detailed and thorough , explaining to us , the scope of the work , the timeframe and schedule. He was so efficient. We have 10 Tenants residing in the properties and Damir & all of the Crew got along with everyone , including the neighbours. The work was completed on schedule , and everyday Damir would visit the site to see how the work was progressing. Each day the job sites were all kept clean. Throughout the projects , Damir was in contact with us ,always the constant Professional. He treated us with so much courtesy and respect.The jobs were completed professionally and successfully and we and the Tenants are so happy. Also Myra at the office is always so pleasant and professional . Damir Grando & all Staff at Acadian Contractors are the a '10+ Rating '. We look forward to working with the Company again and will continue to recommend their services to all of our Family and Friends.

Yellow pages still hold gems. I called don, he came for an estimate, he came on time. He gave me an on the spot estimate breaking it down into several sections. The price was close to what I estimated. He arrived to discuss the job with brothers Andy and Mike who showed up as expected on time. Their work was done to a high standard, they cleaned up each day after work ( this is a messy business) and were done in the allotted time. There was one oversight which was remedied without question. I was very pleased with the whole process. Highly recommended.
