Angela and the team at A Shade Better helped design and select the best materials for blinds for our new home. Angela completed the measure on our first meeting, recommended products to help us achieve the look we were after and kept us up to date as we waited for the order to be manufactured. Rhonda arranged for a speedy install, and the installer was in and out in under an hour with nine blinds! Great service, great look, reasonable price.

We recently had our sofa reupholstered by A Shade Better and are more than pleased with the new look of our sofa as well as the prompt and efficient service we received from Angela Hirst, our consultant with A Shade Better. I also find it convenient that items needing repair, or upkeep, such as cleaning can be taken in store to be fixed & or cleaned in a timely manner & again with exact price & time estimates.

I was initially happy with the advice and service. I purchased and paid for the blinds recommended. Dave offered to come and measure. He did but I had my own installer. When I picked up the blinds, the installer found they were the wrong size and couldn't fit. I had to take one back to be cut, and then it still only fit when Dave removed hardware. I asked him to check if the valences fit. He said they did. They didn't The valences also did not cover the hardware and looked bad. Dave subsequently ignored emails and refused to come and fix the problems. I had to spend more money to get them fixed and installed properly.

a shade better installed hunter douglas blinds in our house. from the moment i called them to come in and quote they were very helpful. they offered advice on choosing the best product to achieve the look i was after for my windows. they also came in with a very competitive price, even less than budget blinds. the products was installed in a timely and clean fashion. the installer was on time, worked quickly and took his garbage away with him. the blinds look great.
