No leaks, great energy savings, and cleaned up very well. Wish I had used them for the first installation. Neighbors have used them too and are very satisfied. Job well done.

I have been extremely pleased with the job that Skylights Unlimited did of replacing my skylight and redoing the valley below it. The workers were very professional and the follow up with pictures kept me informed.

We had an acrylic dome skylight that was acting like a magnifying glass in our 3-storey townhouse. We wanted to replace the skylight with an energy-efficient, low-e, glass skylight with an integrated shade.

With other companies, we received one quote by phone, and then an inflated quote when the representative came out to see us. I guess they sized us up as being able to "afford" a premium for the install. Not so with Skylights Unlimited. Their quote was competitive, consistent, and when we added extras (solar-powered shade, venting) the cost only went up marginally (only by the amount that Velux charged for the extra -- not a special, nice-home premium).

To top it off, the team was professional, efficient and (we could hear them on our roof) took extra steps to do the job well. We needed an extension rod for our cathedral ceiling (we opted for the manual venting skylight, not electronic) and someone from Skylights Unlimited drove it over to our place the next week. No extra charge.

I would recommend to anyone who would like to install a skylight to go with Skylights Unlimited. The pre-installation interview with Denis provided me with the honest advice of using good Velux products, as well as the suggestion of a complete service which included not only the installation of the skylight, but also repairing the damaged stucco ceiling due to water leakage. The price was also reasonable. The technicians who did the installation and repair services are experienced, skillful and courteous. Now I have a no leak skylight and my stucco ceiling is restored back into shape. The job was well done.

I found Skylights Unlimited by googling on the internet. After reading their online reviews and meeting with Denis, I have decided to use Skylights Unlimited for our new skylight installation. Denis was very helpful and quick to respond to any of my questions. He also provided great referrals for ceiling work that needs to be done at my house. He was very accomodating and allowed their scaffold (built by his team) to be re-used by another contractor to finish off the ceiling work. His team of men, Ed, Gord and Darko were very professional, clean and provided great advice for any question that I have related to my house. I would definitely use them again and refer them to friends/relatives. Great job!

In 2001, Denis and his crew installed a large ( 4 ft x 4 ft) skylight and a smaller for us. Both were Velux. We have been very happy with them for the past 10 years. The job was well done and they kept the area clean. Recently, the large one leaked a tiny bit. The leak was so minor that we debated whether it was actually a leak or condensation, and should we call in Denis to fix it at all? It did not leak for the following month while we decided, although there had been heavy rains and storms. It had not leaked all winter or ever before. When there's a 4 foot hole in your roof, you do fix it. With the rainy spring, scheduling the repair was tricky, but eventually, there was a good day to go ahead. Denis sent two polite young men and a repair kit. They spent 3 hours removing the glass, cleaning the channels, installing the kit and glass, and carefully caulked it all. It is now guaranteed for another ten years. We're happy with the work and would not hesitate to recommend Denis and his crew. They are very knowledgeable and do not rush the job to get to the next one.

We have 3 skylights in our home. The 2 in the kitchen had window shades on them to protect us from the heat. The blinds were deteriorating. The centre hall window didn't and that resulted in our upstairs being very warm. We decided to replace all 3 skylights with blinds as well. Denis promised us a date--and kept to it--the crew was pleasant cleaned up after the job. Best of all I think that the centre hall solar blind is doing the trick!!
