Airdrie Carpet Craft

Had an amazing experience with this company, we are new to Airdrie from Olds, we had carpet, hardwood and tiles done in our house. We delt with Kyle, process was easy would defiantly use this company for our future projects.

My mother purchased and had both lino and carpet installed in 2010. Neither job was done well as the lino was an inch lower after the removal of the tile, and the carpet had visible seams. She did not complain at the time because she felt that errors happen with all jobs. She phoned Airdrie Carpet Craft this past December as the carpet, which has a 20 yr warranty looks worse in 3 years than the carpet that was removed. The underlay is not holding up, and the stain proof carpet shows wear and seams very badly. Four phonecalls later, no one has phoned her back as promised. During her last phone call, when she requested to be transfered to the manager, he tried blaiming carpet cleaning, then requested digital pictures instead of sending out an appraiser at their convenience. He actually had the nerve to hang up the phone on my senior mother when she asked if they were part of the Better Business Bureau. Don't bother with this company as they don't stand behind their products and obviously don't return calls. I am disgusted with their behaviour and lack of manners.

Had a flood in our home over xmas and we were able to have carpet installed in less than a week. Delt with Kyle who made the process effortless. Very friendly and professional installers made the job that much smoother. We have more flooring to do and will be using Airdrie Carpet again.

Changed install dates 3 times, installed defective carpet, took 3 months to install finished product. Never did finish completely. Never pay total cost upfront again until job is finished as they will continue to change dates, crews etc. Be Careful.... I would never use this company again.

They did not call to confirm the appointment, they did not show up the day the install was supposed to be done, the next day - once they showed up - they had the wrong underlay and said it would not be done in a day (although the estimate was 5- 6 hours) and my furniture was being delivered the next day. And now a month later I am still waiting for the correct transition piece to be installed.

For our new home built in Airdrie Alberta, we used Airdrie Carpet Craft to supply all the flooring including ceramic tile, hardwood and carpet. They also provided the granite counters and all interior paint.

The selection process with Wendy was fantastic. Wendy was very organized and has a great eye for design and offered very helpful suggestions throughout. We are extremely happy with the end result and the colour pallette and coordination is fantastic. I highly recommend Wendy, however I've heard that she left Airdrie Carpet and started her own company (sorry, I don't know the name).

Overall we were mostly pleased with our experience and love the materials and our selections. However, we are very disappointed with the installation of the hardwood flooring. It appears that they didn't sand the sub-floor before installing the hardwood, so there are numerous peaks. It's covered under our new home warranty, so we are waiting for a final solution but will probably require redoing the entire floor which is quite a hassle.
