Work was done in a hurried manner. Failed to follow the Alberta Building Code, failed to prepare the clay beforehand, then failed to tamp the approximately 2" of sand they spread around (building specs called for 4" packed (about 6" before tamping). Did not put an expansion joint between the driveway (not on piles) and the sidewalk (on piles. Did not put treated board or tentest between garage slabs and driveway.
