Aaa Alarms

The phone line was disconnected at our house temporarily while we were out. We came home to a message on our machine from AAA because we had no line/monitoring. End of story. They did not get a hold of us at the house, so they left a message. They have both our cell phone numbers, but did not call either. So basically, a robber could cut your phone line, and get in your house and kill you because AAA did not verify we were okay or send anyone out. They left a message on our machine, though...great! That will get that robber out of our house! I gave zero stars because isn't safety the number one reason you have an alarm? Terrible.

We currently have this alarm provider to our house, we've only had one break in attempt and the police arrived fast. I don't know about other reviewers on here but I hadn't any bad experiences with this company, yet but the reviews are having be thinking of re considering this company. I pay 50 dollars a month and only get motion sensors and door break ins.

When we moved we transferred our service from our old place to our new. AAA kept charging us for the old house, and refused to refund the amount double charged. We'll be switching companies once our contract is up.

Do not subscribe to AAA Alarm, you have to pay for an entire yr service up front, regardless of whether you are moving or not. This is a catch in the paperwork. We 'be sub veined to other alarm companies and they allow cancellation without charge anytime.

I will never recommend AAA alarms. I would sooner recommend leaving the door to your home wide open. I have had multiple issues regarding AAA's home alarm system and their customer service. The fact of the matter is that they neither care about your or their image as a company. I have had them charge me for things that never happened, things that weren't on my contract and things that never should have been. I have been jerked around more by AAA than any other company I have ever been affiliated with and after many months of trying to resolve our issues like adults they have practically made it clear that they will not make any amends. It was due to their negligence that my home was broken into and no alarm was available to make anyone aware. Should you choose to use AAA for any reason, you will be allowing much misery and discontent into your life which could be avoided by choosing nearly any other Winnipeg alarm company.

Getting the alarm system installed in our home went very efficiently. We had many questions during the installation and the installers were patient and pleasant. When helping us learn how to use their alarm system they made sure we understood everything about the system before they left. We felt comfortable using the new system from the first day.

Very average. The service I have no complaints about, but some of the other ways the company works, including customer service and billing I have found to be sub-par. I would recommend shopping around first, most new customers are brought in with the MTS Bundle I assume. It makes it convenient, but not necessarily the best.

Unclear to me, I locked into the wonderful AAA five-year contract. Pay up or pass it on to the new owners of your house. If they don't want it, you have to continue paying for no service whatsoever or collections will track you down. Nice final kiss-off from Manitoba and it's focus on consumers.

I have been thrilled with AAA Alarms since we installed it in our home. Our garage has been broken into on severa occasions and their response has been very speedy and proficient every time. My family feels much safer having our home equipped with AAA Alarms. The "emergency" button is one of our favourite features in case we are unable to make it to the phone in time.

We are extremely dissapointed in the service that AAA offers. You pay extra so you dontget a large bill when you have an issue with a sensor or something of that nature, and they charge you any way. The billing system is set up so you are paying in advance, causing them to have more funds from customers and earning intrest from an account they have put the funds in, much like MPI has done. Few know that MTS and AAA is owned by the same company, and have another telecomunications company in Edemonton.
