We decided to update our kitchen ceiling, which had old, yellowed plastic panels across the entire ceiling with fluorescent lights above them. The ceiling above the panels was a mess, with a couple of 2x4s running across it from an old wall, glue from decorative beams that had been removed, a heating duct by one wall, popcorn stucco on part of the ceiling, and some holes in the drywall. When I called Mr.Stucco, they sent an estimator promptly. After getting a couple of other estimates, I decided to have Mr. Stucco do the job. They started next day and did a great job. They first covered the floor, counters and door openings with plastic, It took only 3 days to do the entire job, including removing the 2x4s, building a bulkhead around the heating duct and installing drywall on it, scraping the popcorn stucco off, patching the damaged drywall, smoothing the entire ceiling, and painting the ceiling and the walls. They cleaned up very well. I would recommend Mr. Stucco highly.
