Fred Guy Moving & Storage

The two guys showed up in January to delivery a fridge, they removed my main entrance doors and removed my fridge doors because they fridge is too big. They only put 2 out of 4 screws back on my door, and argue I only had 2 screws on door. My door was brand new and it had 4 screws on the top and 4 screws on the bottoms. They only put back 2 on top and 1 at the bottom. I cannot find the screws after they left. So my door are lose now. They didn't even put the fridge door back properly after they moved into my house. Part of the fridge door at the bottom is missing parts and they told me it is only for looks and it does not impact the actual functionality of the door and left without even try to finding the missing parts. They were very rude. I will never do any business with any company that hire this company as their mover.

They delivered a new washing machine but did not leave any hoses to hook it up. As they will not hook up but they also made sure to take the hold ones. They left before I noticed trying to get a hold of them challenging & then blamed store saying they should of been with it. No kidding, you'd think they'd make sure it was when they picked it up. Saturday & still can't do any wash..

Windows to be delivered by Fred Guy Moving (Belleville). Delivery time slot 1-5 (ETD 2PM). Windows show up 9PM, Attempted contact with company 5:30 PM & was transferred to employee left 3:30 PM. Immediately tried to call back & automated answering service says all deliveries done for day and leave a msg. While I can understand not being able to meet timings, I can't understand no contact to explain or rebook delivery. Spent 14+ hrs waiting Thurs & Friday.

NEVER DEAL WITH FRED GUY. I purchased a mattress from sears home and they delayed the delivery services by 3 weeks, coming up with stories like " the drivers phone is off, out of battery, a driver had an accident, we couldn't find your house, there was a truck in front of your house etc ..." I WILL never ever ever again purchase anything from anywhere that has links with fred guy. What an awful experience this has been !!

I had a new fridge delivered by Fred Guy Moving and it was a real dispointment and pain in the butt trying to get accountability. They removed my old fridge and dropped it in the driveway breaking the doors off it. Then when they went to move the new one in they dropped it also. Upon plugging the new fridge in it made a loud series of popping sounds. I unplugged it immediately as I was affraid of it catching on fire. Trying to get Home Depot, Fred Guy or insurance for the food loss had been a real uphill battle and pain. Luckily General Electric replaced the fridge however I am out over $200 in groceries due to the delivery companies employess incompitence. I will update this saga once a decision in rendered.

we ordered 5 appilances from home depot paid for deleivery on all appilances which was fine also paid for a fidge to be taken out which they refused they glaced at it and said was hooked up to water line which was not and doors were on it umm yes doors were on fridge. contractor who was doing work here asked the very rude man if he would at least take it out side said No libabilty doors have to be off when an appilance comes out of the home and on outside when it comes in now how crazy is that especially for a senior home depot made good fred guy would never deal with again and will let all my friends and family know as well

We purchased dinning and living room Furniture and it was to be delivered on a Saturday between 1-5. At 4:50 when they never showed I called the company and asked where it was and when we should expect it. They said that the truck had broken down and that it was not going to arrive this day. We had NO furniture at all, as the floors had been refinished and all old furniture removed. We were having a dinner party the following day and pleaded to have this furniture delivered today. They called back to say another truck would bring it. These 2 drivers came with our furniture at about 6:30. They were already done their shift, but offered to bring ours after hours. They brought all items in and set them up. Awesome job Fred Guy!

Fred Guy was recommend to us by friends and family and we were not dissapointed.

Very easy to deal with we dealt with sales by e-mail - we booked a 3 person crew who showed up on time - They worked hard and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. No damage to anything and my back was saved!! Well worth it!

Had heard great things about Fred Guy from other people. Moved from a small apartment into a larger 'bird house' condo. While the movers were friendly and showed up on time, they damaged the couch and weren't very careful with boxes and furniture. Smelled of pot when they arrived. Would not reccmmend.

Needed to find someone to move some furniture with. Was recommended to look Fred guy up by a colleague of mine at work. She had use them before and I found their customer service to be exceptional. Their rates are fair and I would use them un the future.
