Design 2 Build

Tom inherited us as hostile clients when he purchased the business from Shawn. I am sure it has been an uphill battle. Tom worked hard to gain our trust and respect and to honour the agreement that Shawn had broken. He and his associates did a very good job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tom for any residential projects you have.

Tom and his team did a terrific job. Fast, Flexible and Effective. They were easy to work with and did a great job. No delays and delivered on time. Great team.

I was very impressed with Design 2 Build right from the design phase through to final inspection. Tom and his crew were thorough, professional and courteous. The final product was amazing and it was done at a fair price. Tom drove all the way back to my cottage for one day to complete some final touch ups...amazing service. I aha already recommended Design 2 Build to many friends and will be hiring them for my home renovations.

Shawn did not do the work agreed to and kept demanding money without completing the stages he agreed to and also did not protect our property. He then liened our property for more than the job was worth. $50k in legal fees later, Shawn owes us a lot of money (if he can ever be found) and lost on all accounts in court. BE WARNED!

After interviewing several companies to complete our addition we chose Design2Build - what a mistake. We hired Mr.Hannah who was from Design2Build to be the general for this project. ..well he got 2 guys to try to build a house. They were completely rude, unprofessional and unbelievably ignorant. My husband would have to review their work daily and tell them all the "mistakes" that had to be corrected. When we would approach Mr.Hannah to explain we felt the project's integrity was being jeopardized he refused to listen. Instead he came to us and told us he needs more money - Absolutely not. We got a lawyer and had to remove them from the job. We lost a ton of money in this job not to mention the money we now had to dish out to fix all the problems. The inspectors even asked us if we picked these guys up from some corner. The house was finally completed by contractors that valued their reputation and more importantly valued their customers. Never again would I use them. Later, we found out from our lawyer that the company had done this to several other people.
