Had a small leak manifesting in damp hardwood floor in a spot.
and we also had a few shingles fixed after gust of wind in the fall last year. I called Mr Roof Repair and they looked after both problems
and documented with photographs. They also fixed some caucking
that was coming off. They recommended all the upgrades I should
do for the roof to be in ideal condition.
The service was timely, honest, with knowledgable techs. and
everything was in writing.

I had booked an appointment for a roof inspection, which I had to miss due to an unexpected hospital visit. Mr. Roof Repair was accommodating of the last-minute changes and rescheduled that inspection for later that week. When, prior to the appointment, I discovered a water leak in my ceiling during a rain storm, the company was once again willing to reschedule their visit so that a repair man arrived the first thing the next morning. As a result a small leak remained a minor issue. The repair workers were prompt and finished their work quickly and left no mess. The detailed report provided to me afterward explained all the work they performed, included photos, and made recommendations for upkeep and maintenance. I would recommend Mr. Roof Repair to others.

In April of this year, during a storm, we lost a number of shingles, and in the middle of the night woke to find water dripping from our bathroom ceiling, and also from the light fitting in our little walk-in clothes closet.
Looking into the loft space, next morning, I could see the sky on one side of our roof, where it adjoins one of our neighbours (they're townhouses), along with places where a lot of light was coming in.
Having had problems twice before (it's a Mattamy build), we decided this time to find a good roofer, and called in Mr. Roof Repair.ca The man who came spent some hours replacing a number of shingles, and repairing other parts of the roof, after having looked in our loft first: which didn't impress him, and more than me. After a number of hours work, and a lot of discussion, he left after explaining that the roof was considerably below standard and, in my words (not his) the work of a cowboy or cowboys. A number of standard things which he believed were required had not been done properly, and a layer of insulation sheeting (my words, not his) that he would have expected to see, was not installed.
We discussed having a brand new roof, as it was bad, to say the least, and it's a question now of when we shall be able to afford to have it done (very expensive), with 3/8" ply boarding to replace the 1/4" existing base. Bearing in mid that I know nothing about roofing, I can only say that the pictures of the state of the roof showed a lot of missing shingles and other damage and things missing. The photo's were taken to show us how badly the roof was constructed and as part of an estimate for a new roof. I'm afraid I cannot copy them for you.
Incidentally, my 4 stars for the recommendation part above is simply because the work is so expensive, and many could not afford a decent job. The actual work they did was excellent!

[As for Mattamy, the builders, I'd give them less than one star and will do so If I can again find their review, which averaged out at less than 4/10, with many scares of 1/10, which I would also give!].

Had a roof/attic assessment and partial roof replacement done. Great employees. I contacted a few companies and as is the problem i am finding with contractors is they never get back to you. This company is professional and runs the service like a real business. They got back to me right away, made appt quickly, showed up when they said they would. The employees are all friendly and a pleasure to have around. The quality of work is top notch. If you go with these guys, you'll never have to question if they are cutting corners as they pride themselves in their work and fix up any other issues they see along the way. I'd never consider calling anyone else. If you are looking for someone, call these guys. You wont be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Mrroof repair. They came quickly and got our leak fixed. They went over exactly what was wrong and even showed us pictures of the damage. They requested a new roof but were not pushy.

I quoted Mr Roof Repair amongst 4 other roofers for a Roof Assesment & Report, and also small modifications to the drainage system on my roof. I expected them to be amongst the expensive bids, but they were in the mid to low-mid range. I needed a Roof Report as no one besides my faulty builder has seen the roof of my 2 year old 3 floor 40 foot tall townhome. I needed the Assesment before the Tarion 2 year warranty on my home was going to expire. Anyway Mr Roof Repair responded fast, and was very professional. Their report was pictorial, quantitative, and detailed. I also asked them to make tweaks to the drainage system of my roof, as the builder had a very defective and risky system.. 5 other homes in my project used Mr Roof Repair through my referral, and were pleased with them. One owner in my project also proceeded to use them on his 3 rental properties.

When I went to have a new fan installed in the third floor bathroom at my son's home, I discovered that the fan had been vented to the attic not outside. I turned to Mr Roof Repair to install the vent on our roof. I called and left my number and a brief indication of what I needed done. David called me back right away and gave me an estimate of the cost (based on a google view of the house) and made an arrangement for Pietro and Dan to come 4 days later. They were to arrive between 8:30 and 11:00. They arrived at about 8:45. They worked with my handyman to choose the exact right spot on the roof to install the vent. They worked quickly and cleanly and fed the conduit down to my handyman. I was very pleased and I will definitely use Mr Roof Repair for any other work that we need. The price that I indicated above included the hardware and taxes as well as the labour costs.

We had a major leak into our living room despite new shingles 5 years ago. The original contractor came back to look at the damage and claimed it wasn't the roof. It was the roof. They came out within a couple days and fixed one house in less then an hour, then came by to do an assessment on our other one. The crew was professional and very communicative about what was wrong and how it will be fixed. Within 3-5 days we got an email with a full assessment of our roof with recommendation on what needs repaired. Everyone we have delt with at this company has been professional and given us the best customer service.
