I had an excellent experience with PL Skylights.
Richard came promptly for measurements after my initial call and Lisa emailed me a clear estimate also outlining other possible costs if roof itself needed repair.Within 2 weeks Richard and his assistant returned for the 2 day job. Their work was excellent and they were careful and clean when working inside. I felt I was dealing with trustworthy and experienced professionals.

We have called Pl window for a replacement of a new balcony door at the end of August this year, did not notified it is not seal properly. Early October I placed several service calls, left message to the girl that We used to deal with, they never call me back. Finally I got her on the phone she said she will send the same technician who installed it to check. I am till waiting .

Winter is around the corner, the Living room is frozen because the heat is leaking. Another two weeks is gone, no one comes. I called the same girl again, she said there is nothing the installer can do, that is manufacture problem, and will call the manufacture.

Very bad service

PL Skylight provided prompt and amazing service which went above and beyond. I called another highly rated company first who came out for a consulation on my leaky skylight and didn't bother to follow up. Richard and his team arrived and he provided pictures of the builder's leaky skylight and what was wrong with it and gave me a few different options. I chose to replace the skylight and Richard did a great job and I am very satisfied with the work. He also looked at a leaky door and resealed it immediately. Richard is very experienced and professional and would highly recommend them.

Lisa does not keep appointments. Does not call. Tells you product is in, gives a date of installation then says can't do it. Tells you product is not in, then says not sure when it will be in so not able to install on said date. How is a business run like this???

Lisa was very helpful in pushing the order through so the project was able to be completed fast. Lisa was patient replying to my text messages or calls. She somehow managed to have my doors installed on July 1st - I didn`t have to take any work time off!

George and Bryan came on time and started the work right away. They removed my old doors carefully and put in the new doors, insulations, frames and cases and finally the sealing was awesome. They focused on what they were doing! Both are nice persons and easy to go along with.

Most noteworthy, constantly they would clean the floors/tiles and my porches so it looked nice and clean after the project!
I would highly recommend PL Skylight to everyone!

This is a great company with fabulous service. We needed a skylight to gain roof access and they had the job completed in under 48 hours. Minimal disruption and mess. They even replaced some missing shingles on the roof. Highly recommend.

Stay away from this company! Lousy customer service and very poor workmanship! I called them to replace my old sliding patio door and their installer contractor did many things wrong. For example, they rescheduled my installation appointment twice, the door frame wasn't leveled, making the doors very difficult to slide, no waterproofing and insulation was done around the door frame, they removed top rollers of my screen door in order to force it into the frame, they lost my screen door's latch hardware, and after paying them, they didn't even leave me a copy of the invoice! I tried to ask them to correct the problems, and the manager, Lisa, tried to give me the run-around, and their contractor never bothered to call me back. After threatening them to make a legal claim, they finally sent another pair of contractors, who only fixed the sliding door problem. Then, Lisa had the nerve asked me to pay for the repair -- which they are fully responsible for since they didn't do it right the first time. This company also goes by the name, PL Skylights, so don't be fooled.

PL Skylights removed a new skylight from a previous contractor that was leaking every time it rained. They showed me that the leaking skylight was installed incorrectly and explained everything about how PL Skyight will be done right , this time. They installed new one quickly and with no mess.
We just had a major downpour for over a day and very happy to report no leaks so far. I would highly recommend PL Skyights.

Needed a patio door to replace a very old door/wall/window. I sent few emails with pictures and dimensions to few companies in the area. PL skylights was one of the very few who responded with an estimate by email which was great. To confirm things called them and set an appointment. Richard showed up on time and he was friendly and professional. Took the measurements and provided further inputs, suggestions and alternative options about the project which was explained better than the others.
An official quotation was provided which was not very far off from the estimate and the job was done before the scheduled time which I did not mind.
Overall Liza is a professional friendly business lady and Richard is a very good professional who is patient and trustworthy.
I would deal with them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I had a great experience with PL skylights. Richard is the guy to ask for he has years of experience with skylights and knows what he is talking about. I asked 2 other companies to come and they could not deliver on a 2 foot by 2 foot skylight, and the prices they quoted for 1 X 2 were 50% more expensive then PL. Also the competition didn't know how to quote a price after coming to the house. Richard at PL understood what I wanted and gave me a quote on the spot. The install was perfectly done. PL does a quality job and they do it right, which is what you need. Great price, and done on time. Thanks Richard and Claude, it looks beautiful.
