Paul and his crew were a pleasure to work with. True professionals. They framed a 4000sqft house for us, up in Milton. During the build the Covid-19 pandemic broke out. They worked in a safe manner, adhering to the recommended safety protocol. Until the provincial shutdown caused the lumber yard to shut down for two weeks (not because they were forced too, but for the safety and well being of their employees), with our truss package sitting on a truck. Paul and his guys were very understanding and accommodating through this delay that no one could have seen coming. And the day we could get our materials and trusses delivered to site, they were back and working hard to get the job done and back on track. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great framer, they will exceed your expectations.

We had a shared wall (townhome) that needed framing between two staircases, it was a bit of a challenge given that it changed substrate part way up (poured concrete then blocks). The concrete/block was very uneven where the two different materials met and actually rippled an S-shape across the length of the wall. Having a staircase above and below posed additional challenges. Paul did a terrific job creating a straight and flat surface from which we can now hang drywall. We were especially pleased with his prompt attention, timeliness, skill and professionalism. Would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

We hired PTR Carpentry to do a variety of framing jobs in a house we were renovating. Not only was this job finished in one day, the work was superb in every way!! Paul, CEO, leads his company with a perfectionistic work standard!! This company does all the things, that you hate about contractors, RIGHT. They are reliable, responsive, punctual, with an exemplary work ethic that goes "above and beyond"!!! They even absorbed minor changes into the job, and as an added bonus.... cleaned up when they are done!!!

Taking on the job of being the General Contractor to build a new home from the ground up was overwhelming for me until I was referred to Paul Richardson, owner of PTR Carpentry. Right from the start, he offered to help me with advise and referrals to other trades throughout this process. Paul and his crew were always on time, respectful of myself and other trades on site and worked in harmony throughout the day. The site was always left clean and swept at the end of their day. I’m nearing the end of the construction and am still in contact with Paul. Every trade that’s worked in my house has commented on what a great job the carpenters have done, everything is built beautifully and level. I honestly don’t know if I could have come this far without Paul and his team. Their expertise and experience has been priceless. I will always recommend PTR Carpentry Inc. Thanks guys!

I found PTR Carpentry and Paul (owner) on Homestars. He was quick to respond to my call and meet at my house to quote on the framing of my basement. I am managing the project myself and had many questions which Paul answered with ease due to experience. His price was great, work was great, workers he brought to my place were kind and respectful of my property and they left the job site very clean. A few days later, I realized a few more areas which required framing and called Paul. He sent Ryan in to take care of the extra items within a few days. I will have already recommended Paul to a neighbour of mine and will continue to refer him due to his professionalism and talent.
