Vallery and his team did a great job on my flat and shingle roof.

He came by right away to give me a quote and after 4 quotes his was the best. He came recommended by a contractor friend who worked with him on a job.

It did take a while (over a month) before they got to my house, but when they did, they did a great job.

They also replaced my skylight in the bathroom which was a source of a leak.

I just bought a new home and will be using them again.

These guys are excellent. I had estimates ranging as high as $16k. Punctuality, quality, price, timeliness, cleanup, follow up was excellent. I have yet to find a roofing nail on my lawn!

Peter and Valery and their crew are fantastic - we have a roof with some abnormal complications such as a turret and a flat section, but they were able to tackle it all quickly and thoroughly. We had 3 layers of existing shingles on both the house and garage as well as a pile of 'extra' pea gravel on our flat roof - a lot of material to take away since we wanted everything stripped off down to the wood.

On top of the massive amount of material to be removed, we have demanding neighbours who are home all day and kept a watchful eye to ensure no damage was done to their own properties (tight urban site with some delicate wall finishes like stucco). Kingsway Roofing managed to keep everyone happy and left our place and the neighbour's spotless.

We also had to have a mason in to re-build a chimney on the flat roof *during* the re-roofing work, and Kingsway was very co-operative with sharing space and access with another trade despite no oversight from a contractor or the owners.

The one area that might be a bit stronger is in communications - as an architect I had plenty of questions beforehand but it wasn't always easy to get a response. This is due to how busy Kingsway Roofing is, which is further proved by the fact that they took only 2 long days to do our house and garage (a total of 25 hours). Once on site, they were very comfortable fielding questions and even invited me up onto the roof to see things were progressing and take photos.

I consider them to be knowledgeable, thorough, and fast roofers and our quote from them was towards the bottom end of the quotes we received for the job (ranging $7,000-$21,000). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends or family (and already have).

Kingsway Roofing replaced my 15-yr old shingles with the new GAF-ELK HD Lifetime. They had great selection of materials selection that would suit any budget. We chose a rare kind of shingles and they made sure the order came on time.
Before starting the job Valery and Peter explained how the roofing system works and what are they going to do throughout the project. They arrived on time with their crew early in the morning and worked hard throughout the day with a very few breaks. The crew was very professional, everything around the house was covered. They left the place very clean after they finished, no scraps, debris etc.
The also vented properly bathrooms fans though the roof at no charge. They also followed up with some adjustments I needed after the project was done.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I was very fortunate to be referred to Kingsway roofing. I had been searching for a roofer for quite a while, and was frustrated by the ridiculous quotes that I was getting. I met with Valeri and he put together a quote within a few days. Having done our research, it was not a difficult decision to go with Kingsway Roofing. They used the same or better materials as I had been quoted for by other "well known" roofing companies in Etobicoke, and for a fraction of the price.

On the job site, it was very evident that Valeri and Peter both take great pride in their work - not only do they ensure that things look great, but they make sure that is done right as well. This was also the general sentiment from the person that referred us to Kingsway roofing, and a different neighbour who we later found out had also used Kingsway Roofing.

They did the job quickly, with amazing attention to detail, and left the job site unbelievably clean - we have not found a single nail around the house, and I don't expect we ever will.

I would have no reservation referring Kingsway roofing in the future. Thanks for the great job!

I got this company in March 2010 to do my roof after spending a lot of time researching to find someone really good. Valarie came by to give me an estimate and did not just scribble the costs down on a small piece of paper and left but spent the time to show me all the different materials and allowed me to choose the materials I wanted. I chose the 3 tab fiberglass shingle instead of the Iko and the price compared to all the others could not be matched to what he quoted me. His price was not only a lot cheaper, but the materials he used was high quality material, he came on time, protected around the house to ensure nothing got damage including the neighbor’s house. I had some extra work done also and he did not charge me any labour costs for these additional work. He came on time with his crew (he did not sub-contract the work to anyone like most of the other company) and worked diligently until the work was done and thoroughly cleaned up before he left. He walk around the yard to inspect it to ensure everything was all clean and only took payment when all the work was completed. I am very happy with him and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I have recommended him to someone since he did my roof and she is also very very happy.

There is a number of roofing companies that are at the top rating on Home Stars. Unfortunately top rating does not mean top service. I got three estimates on my project. Kingsway roofing was 20% less expensive than others. Considering high cost of the roofing work I decided to take my chances and go with the less expensive contractor. This guys proved to me that quality service is not necessarily the most expensive. They did all the work neatly and accurately, as much as neat and accurate could be the job of tearing off the old two layers of shingles, flashings, roof vents, old metal chimney. They installed new high definition shingles from GAF ELK with all new flashings. Peter and Valeriy worked quickly and accurately. By the time they finished, my neighbours came and asked for their business cards. That is how good was the job that they did. Definitely the Kings Way to go Kingsway Roofing.

**** DO NOT USE MY NEIGHBOUR USED AND CAN"T GET WARRANTY..I purchased a house and needed the roof fixed, 3 quotes Avenue Rd wanted to sell me a Cadillac when I wanted a honda at $9,000 and tell you how much better they are but I've read their reviews, Alpine wanted $5,500 and Kingwsay did what I wanted and suggested things I should do for only $2000 + GST and came when promised. Not the greatest but the price is fair I guess if it leaks I can change my rating but I think they did good
