Meridian Windows & Doors (Alberta) Inc. No Longer In Business

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They do not stand by their product or service. The back door does not close tight into the frame. One attempt to fix it and made it worse. The front door has a window feature but the glass has already come loose in the mosaic.

This was the third Windows and Doors replacement project with Meridian Windows and Doors. Although there was some delay in delivery this time due to the Christmas holidays,the job done by the installers,Yuri and his partner,was great. They were very professional,polite and knowledgeable installers.I would definitely recommend them to friends.

Terrible service terrible workmanship no professionalism absoloutely terrible i do NOT RECOMEND AT ALL find a better company its not hard windows have drafts front door is broken due to not being installed properly as well as after instalation razors and other various sharp objects were left and they do not call back when we complained

I bought two windows and a sliding door from Meridian Windows. They installed the two windows and door in July 2016, the company sent a sliding door that opened on the wrong side from what I had ordered, wasn't a huge problem so we left it. In Dec 2016 only 5 months after installation the lock on my sliding door had a malfunction, leaving it unable to unlock and unable to open the door at all. I called the Meridian office to have the door repaired. I was promptly told that repair would not be covered by warranty. I then called Jose the installation manager, he informed me that the door is covered under warranty, but they have no installers at the moment to repair it, and since it wasn't an emergency for them he didn t know when he could get some one out to fix it, but he would contact me in a couple days and let me know what they can do. I waited a week and was not contacted, I tried contacting Jose and left him messages, and still nothing. It is now February 2017 my door is still broken and has not been opened since the day it broke, and I have still not heard from anyone from Meridian Windows since December. I still have more windows to replace down the road, and I will not be going through Meridian Windows and doors again. Overall experience, extreamly poor customer service!

We were very satisfied with our salesman Edward & our installers Lasha & Georgi. They were all very professional and experts in their fields. Although there was some delay in delivery - the windows look great & we are extremely pleased with the final outcome. We are looking forward to a reduction in our heating bills. We already notice the reduced noise from outside with our Meridian Windows.

I have an older home which had old windows which you could feel the cold radiating off them in winter and made my house an over in the summer months. I had Meridian windows replace and install all new windows. My house is now not only warmer in -40, windows are warm to the touch and my house looks like a different house with these beautiful windows! I couldnt be happier!!!

NEW UPDATE: They told homestars that I was not a customer Nice ethics Meridian. Next they called me to ask that I give up all my rights to post on homestars anything about them in the future if they sent me a new molding and some touchup paint. That still leaves a list of defects that they haven't done anything about. The question was worded yes or no not inclusive of any other work that needed to be done.
Meridian windows installed 22 windows and 2 doors. The work done was sloppy and careless. Their response to me was it was good enough for them and that this was rough construction. They have done little to address my concerns of the outstanding items from the initial install. Their repair/warranty person came several times but nothing has been fixed or completed. They even said their installers would not come back as they felt they did a good job. Well if you like sloppy work they are your company. Basement window drainage is non existent. They buried a plastic pipe in the ground and called it acceptable. it is full of dirt so basically it does nothing. The front door outdoor molding has been drilled exposing the material below and again they say that is good enough. Front window casing over arched window installed but the joints don't match up. Again good enough for them. I have been ignored repeatedly for requests to fix these issues. I would stay away from these guys as they lack the skills to do a professional job.

I got the quote done a 4 months before i was ready to make a decision. They where extremely paitent and when i called back to order they came to my house again to chat. Not only did they keep the price they quoted awhile back, they where very affordable and polite. When the installers came about 5 weeks later i found them to be extremely polite and professional. They did the work in a timely matter, Did a great job at it (12 vynal windows), cleaned up every little piece of scrap, and showed me how to use the windows (inclding the removal of the trim for when i paint). I would highly recommend this company and the installers they use. They get the job done on budget and on time. Thanks alot :)

This was our second windows replace project in 2 years. This time it was 4 windows and everything was finished in one day. The crew was very professional and open to recommendations. The windows are great quality and i wound recommend them and Meridian Windows to others.
