Dome Contracting & Insulation

I was very impressed with the quality of work and the care of the persons I dealt with at Dome. Bonnie made arrangements for Robert to come out to provide an estimate and he was very thorough. Of course, he took the time to explain everything that we would need if we decided to hire them and there was no pressure or scar scenarios. (Another company I had contacted insisted that the vents in the eaves were unable to be vented in the attic.)

We had to delay the work 2 or 3 times so by the time we were ready everything Dome was booked up until the first week of January 2016. We asked Bonnie to keep us on a cancellation list becasue we really needed to get some insulation in the attic. And even though an emergency came up on their part, Bonnie worked with Robert and he and Ty were able to come around 3 weeks ahead of the scheduled appointment.

Upon arrival their professionalism was evident right away. Introductions were made and the disruption was minimal; they covered the stairs with matting, and got to it.

I had sealed off the room that had the attic access with plastic sheeting becasue I read that insulating an attic creates a lot of dust. Some reported that dust covered everything. I was pleasantly surprised when, after the work was completed, that very little dust or insulation was found either in this room or anywhere in the house. Robert and Ty vacuumed the closet that houses the attic access as well as any other areas where what little insualtion there was had fallen. All was probably from their boots and coveralls.

The venting was completed, the insulation was above what I expected and an insulated access door to the attic was installed.

Speaking with these two workers was easy and comfortable.

Robert also offerd advice on insulating the wall - a no go becasue we'd have to tear the walls apart - and he told us so. He also told us that we could expect a noticeable difference in our comfort levels and he was right. The first night was like sleeping in a differnet house.

I can't see anyone having a problem with Dome. It never felt like I was dealing with a big, 'no care' company nor a company that wants to get the job done as fast as they can without doing it right.

We were very satisfied with the work that was done by Robert and Ty. They arrived on time. They were efficient and completed the work in a timely manner. Our questions were answered completely. It was obvious that they were very knowledgeable about the insulation business.

1. Robert seemed very honest told me what I needed and did not need. He did not try and upswell me whatsoever.

2. They were very punctual and stayed on schedule.

3. They cleaned after they were done and left no mess behind.

Robert, Tye his assistant, and Tina at the office were all great to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The price was fair and the work was done quickly and neatly. They always made sure to keep the place clean, which can't be easy when dealing with a basement full of rotten studs/drywall. The work itself looked fantastic and the materials used were of high quality. They were always right on time and communication was always open. We can now enjoy our basement with peace of mine. Excellent service would highly recommend dome to everybody for price,integrity and outstanding work. They were punctual and helpful discussing pricing as well as work options to deal with attic insulation issues .

We hired Dome to remove and install Insulation in our Attic, unfortunately we found Asbestos that was hidden by a former owner. Robert and Tina were amazing they had it tested for confirmation ( which we could of done ourselves they said) but we wanted them to. They worked with us to help us get the job done, as with Asbestos their is a lot more prep involved to remove it, and more cost. They and their workers were amazing and we would not hesitate to recommend their company to family and friends. We would also use them again if we needed Insulation any where else in our home. Thank you again for a job WELL DONE!!!!!!

Rob and his team were excellent - they provided much guidance and advice before the project started with at least 2 site visits and honest opinions. Onsite they were very professional and everything was completed on time. Happy to recommend them to anyone.

We contacted Dome Insulation due to damage done by racoons in our attic. Rob visited our home and sent us an estimate. There was a delay in contracting their company due to personal reasons. However, when we decided to call them, they were knowledgeable about our quote and finalized all the details over the phone. Luckily we only had to wait a week before they could come and complete the job. Rob and Mike did a splendid job and finished the entire project in a day. They took care to keep the area as clean as they possibly could and we were happy with their professionalism and information provided to us when we needed to know what they were doing.
