This company has had bad press, so now they've changed their name to TMC. If I had known this, I would have been warned by all the reviews under its old name.
Tip 1: never agree to the first price offered. The salesperson will drop it by more than half, even he has to stay well past midnight on a school night to do so.
Tip 2: the warehouse people will call you for things they just discovered are wrong & need to fix, no matter how much you thought had been included in the agreement. They too will drop their prices many times & they will be very, very, very persistent.
Tip 3: don't even bother hoping for remnants. No matter how many times you remind workers that you wanted them, they will throw them out.
Tip 4: They are very polite. This doesn't mean they won't still try to get more money out of you. Remember, they charge you based on how much they think you make, not how much the project costs.
Overall, I didn't like how many things were not included in the price when I signed the contract. The company should hire someone with a little Microsoft Excel experience to create a spreadsheet for all possible costs so that people know what they're getting into. Spreadsheets can adjust for different sizes of furniture. I could easily create one in under an hour if they gave me the information. This way, the customer won't feel scammed when the warehouse people keep calling.
Also, what's with the sales pitch? Come on, this is Canada. Canadians don't like overinflated prices that keep coming down. Just be direct & offer a standard price instead of games, PLEASE.
The work they did was ok, but I ended up with 2 panels instead of 1 (though I ok'd this later, it would have affected the fabric I selected had I known in advance). Additionally, the shape of the cushions came out angled when rounded would have been much better. In fact, the one corner is so angled that it actually points up. I'll take it apart myself to fix it though.
