We are extremely happy with how all of our new floors look! The old shag carpet and dated linoleum are gone! We now have beautiful dark laminate on the lower floor, a short beige Berber upstairs and on the stairs. Can not say enough good things about Your Reno Crew! Renovating our outdated Livingroom with brick fireplace and painting the Hall, Stairways and small room.
After getting a few quotes from different contractors, we decided to hire Gary and his crew. They had the knowledge, made some valuable suggestions and provided us with a detailed contract. They were always on time and cleaned up every day. When some problems with the brick fireplace arose, they had some innovative ideas and then took the brick wall down themselves and disposed of them at cost. We were always informed of any extra costs and would agree to it in writing.
Their work and dealing with us was in every way professional but also personable. We appreciate their attention to details, always being on time and finishing the project by the deadline.

Gary and his crew were retained to do a complete renovation of our flower shop including a rebuild of our flower cooler that had mold issues. Because we are located in a mall all renovations had to be done after mall hours and working closely with mall management.

I was especially impressed with both the time Gary spent on the details prior to submitting a quote, and the attention he gave to the details once work began.

He kept me informed on extras as they came up. That was very much appreciated so no surprises when the final bill came in. Any concerns I had, or the mall, or problems that cropped up, were dealt with immediately and professionally.

Completion was right on time as outlined in the Scope of Work. And since completeion we have had nothing but compliments from the mall managers, mall employees and our customers. And of course I and my staff are enjoying our beautiful new store.

Great service...everything done with a written contract, showed up when they said they would be here, minimal down payment, high quality work and were quick and efficient. Prices were very reasonable.....we won't even bother with getting other quotes when we do our kitchen next...these guys are good.

Our "new" apartment is 40+ years old and was desperately needing a new kitchen to give us much more workspace as well as modern appliances. The small bathroom still enjoyed its original (repainted) bath, an oversize toilet and vanity. So when we bought we knew we would need help.

The overall project was for a complete new kitchen from the floor up, a new shower room to totally replace the really old bathroom as well as updating doors and baseboards throughout. But we decided to sign a contract for only one piece, that was the kitchen. If the kitchen work was good we could then go back and get the rest done.

We looked for a contractor after we built our own plan for what we wanted and called in 4 companies. 1 contractor was referred by a good friend and 3 were A to A+ rated in BBB. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 wanted to impose their ideas or plans for our wants and needs. 1 took a long time just to find someone to supply the cabinets for us.

In one case the contractor told us our kitchen plan was all wrong and we should move the fridge and microwave. In another case, the contractor said he only supplied cabinets that went to the ceiling, and we certainly did not need that help! We were not impressed.

M&W was one of the BBB A+ rated companies. They came in, listened patiently to what we wanted, offered some suggestions but did not tell us what we wanted and came back with a very good and detailed quote.

At our request, the quotes should let us make our own choice of flooring, cabinets, appliances, shower cabinet, toilet etc. all the way to the plumbing fixtures. Some of the contractors had a problem with that. The M&W quote was for labour only and that was fine by us.

When we looked at all the proposals, choosing the M&W team was easy and we felt comfortable making that decision.

The team's work was really good, they showed up as promised and on time, cleaned up at the end of every day and completed the kitchen without any nasty financial surprises.

When it was time for the rest of the work to be done we did not even think about finding another contractor. The M&W team's work on our kitchen was very good and it made sense to ask them for a quote. They could have gouged us but they didn't, they were still competitive compared with the kitchen quote.

Losing a bathroom is never easy especially when it is the only one, but the M&W team again showed up as promised, cleaned up every day, completed as expected and we were very happy with the results.

Bottom Line - we recommend you give M&W a call, discuss your ideas and we expect you will be very happy with the results.

Over the past 3 years, Your Reno Crew have gutted and completely renovated two bathrooms in my home.

The first is the main bathroom, which also contains the laundry room. It was a complete gut down to the studs. When rebuilding, they designed a curb less, door less walk-in shower. The walls have almost 900 tiles.

The second is our downstairs bathroom, which was also a complete gut down to the studs. This bathroom contains a sauna. This space was redesigned with the partial removal of a wall to make more space.

Your Reno Crew were very helpful throughout the process and involved extensively in the design work. Gary and his crew performed this work while we were away on vacation. We left them with a key and full access to our property. The work was completed before we got back from vacation.

My wife and I are very happy with the work and within a few weeks they are starting a complete gut of our master bathroom (while we are away on vacation).

Your Reno Crew did an excellent job, not only on the new renovation, but also more importantly, correcting a previous attempt.

I purchased a home that was built in the 1970's and had been neglected for many years. The previous owner had done some work, wanting to legalize a basement suite. Looked like a waste of time and money, I wanted a renovation that would bring the house up to current standards in terms of both safety and design.

Some friends recommended Your Reno Crew. I met with Gary and Dave, who were very professional and knowledgeable. They asked a lot of questions to understand what I was looking for and after several visits, put together a detailed Scope of Work that addressed all of my concerns. They also confirmed my assumption that the wiring (copper to alum.) was improperly connected. Although the old wiring was still ok, it was decided to just re-wire to current code and load requirements as I was also reconfiguring the layout.

They prioritized the work and started with the roof, gutters and down pipes. They explained that it didn't make any sense renovating the interior until issues relating to the exterior and potential water ingress were addressed.

When they were satisfied the exterior of the house was secure, they commenced a complete interior demolition. They started by removing several walls to create an open concept design. With a central island and big screen, the room is great for entertaining.

The master and main bathrooms were completely reconfigured so that instead of a small two-piece master bathroom, I now have a large three-piece master bathroom, highlited by a 42” shower, and the main bathroom, although smaller, has a much-improved layout.

A previous owner had enclosed the deck that was off the old dining room and installed a hot tub underneath (also enclosed). There were many safety issues related to this addition including the fact that an enclosed hot tub can lead to mould and health issues. Trouble just waiting to happen.

Your Reno Crew designed a new layout for the basement that converted a formerly unusable space into a beautiful two-bedroom in-law suite. The old hot tub room is now a master bedroom with French Doors that lead onto a private deck. The tenants(first ones to occupy), have been here for 3 years and are not in a hurry to leave.They just love the suite and property.

The old upstairs addition is now my office, separated from the main room, also by French Doors. The guys also suggested that I build a laundry closet off the office so that there is no sharing of laundry facilities.

Back outside, the Crew demo’d and rebuilt a new, larger dual level deck for outdoor entertaining. Not only is there space for the barbeque, but also a gas fireplace.

Your Reno Crew completed the renovation with all new vinyl siding and landscaping. They even figured out how to move the existing garden shed that was in a poor location to the corner of the yard increasing the usable area in my back yard. Saving the garden shed also saved me money.

In summary, this was a $150,000 complete home makeover that proceeded smoothly on time and on budget.

I would not hesitate recommending Your Reno Crew to anyone thinking of completing a home renovation - big or small.

Mom sold her condo and needed a place to live. We had a "sort of" finished basement but we knew it needed renovating and upgrading to make it liveable. The guys from M&W Classic Home Renovations came in and did a complete makeover. They redesigned the entire space, which included building a separate bedroom, tearing down and reconstructing the bathroom, and moving the entrance between kitchen and living room, which required structural modifications. From framing to drywall to painting, flooring, plumbing and electrical, they handled it all. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every workday and completed the project on time and on budget. We would strongly recommend this company to anyone considering home renovations.

Over the past year, we have had these gentlemen in our home. They truly want the customer to be happy! They had several consultations with us before we decided to use them as our contractor. They wanted to know what we wanted for this extensive reno. & came up with several design & layout ideas. They also considered our families needs, & strongly suggested that we do the reno. in stages over the year, rather then "demo" the interior of our house all at once. This also meant that there quote would only include the work that was scheduled in that phase, so they were not guaranteed to have the whole contract of this project. It was a great suggestion, as we did have a finished basement w/kitchen & full bath to use, during the renos. The process was still challenging, with 2 young children & a dog.

They took complete pride in their work, & were also completely accomodating to any changes we made. There was also an area of work that my husband & I did not think was neccessary to do, as it involved an issue underneath the kitchen floor, so we did not want to bother with it. They felt so strongly about making sure it was done well, that they "ate" the cost of the labour & materials, so that the end result was perfect! (They were right...there was a problem that did need to be fixed.)

We have recommended them to friends, who have used them & were very happy with the work. We also plan on using them in the future for further projects in our home.
