James and crews are very timely, excellent and very careful. He even saved our money by quickly checking the piano and advised us that it was not necessary to tune at this time.

I hired James and his team to move a 1937 baby grand that I am restoring so it was a very important move for me. I have nothing but excellent things to say!
1) James and his team were early, on one of the hottest days of the year! They were professional, and expedient and really knew what they were doing. 3 people to move a grand is necessary, so don't hire a company that promises to do it with less. They did a great job of getting the piano out of the sellers house and into my house within the time frame quoted. This involved navigating a difficult corner and stairs - not a scratch on anything!
2) James had excellent advice for me about the next steps for the piano - which is invaluable in my estimation
3) Tuning after the move a few weeks later, James did an analysis of the piano and provided me with excellent advice about which path to take with the restoration
4) I enthusiastically recommend James for any of your piano needs. I'm hiring him again to tune my mom's piano as a Christmas present for her.
