Galaxy Moving & Mobile Storage

Me and my husband had to move two separate locations, Our home in West Vancouver, a Grand piano and a snooker table. We moved to a bigger house so we had our storage locker and our home moved all together. They sent one truck to our storage while the other crew took apart our pool table and grand piano. I had tried a few other companies and no one could do all the work them selves they either wanted us to hire a piano moving company and or a pool table moving company. We finally found Galaxy Moving and they were able to accommodate everything on the same day and on one bill. They did a fantastic job. They took the piano apart and reassembled it like masters. The pool table had hundreds of screws and staples and it only took them about an hour to take it all apart. We had bought a new cloth and they installed that and stretched it into place perfectly (At no extra cost i might add) I am very happy to recommend Galaxy and will definitely use them for all our future moves, which i hope wont be too soon. I got a refferal from a friend at my church for Galaxy Moving and storage. They were very happy and had no problems so I hoped I would have a similiar experience. Ours was also a success, the guys showed up early and finished early. The movers were polite and courtious and very patient as we had our grand children fussing around every where. Moving Sucks... It's so much work... This time I decided I wasn't doing it by myself, so I looked around for Moving companies that were reputable, well recommended and known in Vancouver.
I'm so glad I found Galaxy movers, after some of the horror stories I had read about on Homestars.
They went beyond what I expected from them. They cared for my items as though they were their own.

We just had our Concert Grand Piano Moved by Galaxy. We had 3 quotes and they were all within a $1000 of each other. The move required a 8 foot lift. We chose Galaxy based on their experience and our Conductor reccomended them. I was completely blown away by the skill and professionalism of the crew. Due to the length and weight of the piano I was a little un easy but they showed up with 8 Men put it up and over our new balcony (8 Feet up) like it was nothing. They wrapped every piece and double wrapped the actual piano. I highly reccomend Galaxy Movers. They are very very Knowledgeable Piano Movers.

We have just finished unpacking and not even a dish was damaged. These guys must have eaten their weaties as they hustled all day long. Our move was pretty straight forward move from one house to another. The big challenge was the Pool table and all our belongings. That was no problem for the two crews Galaxy sent. They had our place done by dinner time. I was amazed, they sent 5 guys and their move actualy went an hour under their estimate, Great job. I will use you guys again and highly advise anyone who is moving to give them a call.

The movers were great. They arrived on time on a Sunday Morning, well prepared and worked hard the entire move.
The Quote we got from the Head Office was pretty much exactly what we ended up paying and competitive with the other quotes I had gotten from other moving companies around Burnaby.

The Movers wrapped and protected our furniture with out us ever having to ask.

We had Galaxy Movers move our office from Vancouver to Burnaby. It was a huge undertaking as we had to arrange for our servers to be moved in one hour as we could not have our sites down for more then that. Needless to say their "office specialists" had the servers up and running within the hour. They had several trucks and a whole bunch of movers for the rest of the move and it all went very smooth.

Very happy with Galaxy Mobile Storage, I put my furniture in their storage while I was out of town. The best thing is I did not give them a forwarding address or a new expiry date on my card, So when I came back and was told I never made any payments but my goods were still there I was Extremely Happy. They said they do not like to send stuff to auction and figured I would contact them eventualy. They are fantastic I do not think most comopanies would do this.
