Straight Up Masonry

We have a brick home, over 100 years old, and areas of the brick had deteriorated over time, including one area over a window that had partially collapsed. We also had another window with a wooden sill that would not have lasted another year. Straight Up Masonry replaced the wooden sill with a concrete sill, inserted a metal rod between the brick in the collapsed area for support and patched up the brickwork to match the old bricks around it. Completed the job in half a day, left the area clean, extremely friendly and helpful, and even found a siding repair person for us for another area of our house that needed work. Strongly recommend, and we will be using them again in the future

Tony promptly responded to my inquiry and came over and provided a quote the same day, and we booked a time to complete the repairs. The repairs were completed quickly and I am very happy with the end result. Tony was also very diligent in cleaning up before he left. I have had a few repairs completed by Straight Up Masonry and highly recommend them for all masonry work.

Tony and his team came to the rescue of my aging chimney. Brick and cement bits had been falling from above our deck. They were able to match the existing brick so closely that you would think it was original to the house.

We had a 130-year old chimney that had not been in use for over 20 years, and it was in need of removal. Tony and his two assistants were fabulous! This job turned out to be trickier than expected, because of the poor condition of the bricks and mortar. They arrived on time at 7:30 am, efficiently set up scaffolding at the demolition site, then began work. The task at hand was carried out expertly, and the clean up was perfect. The entire project was completed, including cleaned up, by 1:00 pm. We were impressed! This was our first experience with Straight Up Masonry, but we would call upon them first for any future masonry needs.

Tony and his crew did a pillar rebuild at my home. He provided high quality work and I appreciated his attention to detail and a solid clean up after the rebuild was completed. Would highly recommend for any future work.

Repairing the mortar on my front steps seemed like a simple enough job, but somebody had already given it a go once and, though it looked okay, the repair didn't last. Very disappointing. I turned to Straight Up Masonry because of its many positive reviews, and now add my own. I was quite satisfy with Straight Up Masonry in their work. My chimney was crumbling which needed to be rebuilt and the bottom bricks on my front pillar were deteriorating which needed to be replaced. Prior to hiring Straight Up, Tony was able to answer all my questions and explain to me so I would have a better understanding of the work involved. I was worry about my shrubs and tree in the front yard, but there were no damage. The crew made sure each time they left the driveway was cleaned up. After the work was completed, Tony sent photos of the new chimney. They did an excellent job that my brother-in-law has hired them to rebuild the chimney at his house.
